So, how many signed up for Obamacare on the first day?

It took some doing, with Ninja’s sneaking into the Oval office to get the folder with the actual numbers, but finally we know just how many people successfully signed up for Obamacare.

The number of successful sign ups, drum roll please… was a massive six (6) people! Six whole, actual, real people were able to sign up for near worthless insurance. By the next day, about 100 people had signed up successfully and by the end of the week it was about 500. The numbers have not been improving either. Here are the details from CBS News:

For 31 days now, the Obama administration has been telling us that Americans by the millions are visiting the new health insurance website, despite all its problems.

But no one in the administration has been willing to tell us how many policies have been purchased, and this may be the reason: CBS News has learned enrollments got off to an incredibly slow start.

Gee, I wonder why?

The website launched on a Tuesday. Publicly, the government said there were 4.7 million unique visits in the first 24 hours. But at a meeting Wednesday morning, the war room notes say “six enrollments have occurred so far.” By Wednesday afternoon, enrollments were up to “approximately 100.” By the end of Wednesday, the notes reflect “248 enrollments” nationwide.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

The health care exchanges need to average 39,000 enrollees a day to meet the goal of seven million by March 1.

Oh it gets better. What wasn’t reported here is that a lot of people, particularly the “Young and Healthy” people that Obamacare needs to loot, are looking at the prices and walking away in shock. I saw a news story on one office where people would walk in after giving up on the Obama 404Care web site to look into signing up. When they get a price quote, they go into shock and simply walk out. This is going to happen more and more.

Obama lied through his teeth about this and now people are beginning to understand that they are well and truly screwed. They will pay the fine rather then sign up for this disaster, and that won’t help the insurance companies. They need these people to pay for the really sick people who apparently are the ones who are signing up.

And that brings up another problem. The fine or tax that Chief Justice John Roberts said made Obamacare OK with him. The tax was initiated in the Senate which is unconstitutional. There are literally hundreds of lawyers salivating at the first time someone gets hit with this tax. They have all the paperwork ready to go to get an injunction stopping the IRS from taxing people for not buying Obamacare.

Then there is the matter of actually collecting the tax. The IRS is forbidden by law from attaching paychecks, going into bank accounts, putting a lien on homes or any of their usual methods for stealing money. They can only withhold people’s refund checks. If you have your W2 set up so that you don’t get a refund, then the IRS can’t touch you.

So who was the most accurate predictor of the number of people signing up? That would be Kate McKinnon on a Saturday Night Live skit where she was parodying Kathleen Sebelius. She said that millions of people visited the sight, but that one of the problems was that it was designed for just 6 people. Who knew they would be that accurate?

If Obama 404Care isn’t killed soon, the next major problem will be the Employer Mandate. Obama illegally extended it until January 2015, primarily to get past the midterm elections. However, there is one small problem. The companies in question will be deciding if it is cheaper to provide health insurance to their employees or pay the fines. From what everyone estimates, it will be cheaper to kick people into the exchanges and pay the fines. They will be making their announcements in September 2014, just a couple of months before the election.

People will be furious! If the Republicans do this right, it will make the 2010 midterm look like a minor gain for them. It may be just what it takes to finally flip the senate away from that crook Harry Reid. At that point, Obama won’t be just a lame duck, he will be a dead duck. It can’t happen soon enough for me.
