What did the President know…

And when did he know it? That was the question, asked by Howard Baker during the Watergate ((Watergate scandal)) hearings that caused Richard Nixon to resign one step ahead of impeachment.

Now this very same question is being asked of Barack Hussein Obama. Every time some scandal has blown up in Der Fubar’s face, his first reaction is to say he knew nothing about it. (Then say it was someone else’s fault) The list of things that The SCoaMF claims he knew nothing about, and learned about it on the news, defies belief. Now Fox News has a story on “The Incompetent One’s” stupefying level of ignorance.

A string of embarrassing episodes for the Obama administration that the president didn’t seem to know about until the public did is raising questions about why he wasn’t in the loop and who should have told him. Knowledge that the IRS was excessively targeting Tea Party groups and other conservative organizations during the 2012 election cycle arguably would not reach the president’s desk before the news media learned this spring.

And that’s about the only one that he could claim stupidity ignorance about. However, I have my doubts about that.

But reports over the past week weeks that President Obama was not aware of the National Security Agency monitoring German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s cell phone nor of the technical problems that plagued the ObamaCare website ahead of its Oct. 1 launch suggests he is taking too much of hands-off approach or perhaps not surrounding himself with people who can keep him informed, critics say.

And I flat out don’t believe it for a minute That Obama didn’t know about Merkel and the coming disaster of his Obamacare website. (Pre-October 1 launch) There is no way the intelligence services would spy on an allied leader without the President, whoever that was, signing off on it. That included Bush.

So, what didn’t the Golf Pro in Chief know, and when didn’t he know it? Here’s a general list.

1. Spying on Foreign Leaders (Angela Merkel)
2. Fast & Furious
3. Benghazi
4. The Obamacare website failures
5. That most people will lose their private health insurance
6. The IRS suppressing the Conservative and Tea Party groups
7. Solyndra
8. Department of Justice monitoring calls by reporters

The Republican National Committee sees a pattern. The group has released a list of incidents — under the titled “Bystander President” — in which Obama appeared to caught unaware, such as the request for additional security at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, prior to the fatal Sept, 11, 2012 terror attacks and about the Justice Department’s use of subpoenas against reporters.

There are times when you want to keep a president “Out of the loop” but that is something that should be considered very carefully lest a president get blindsided.

Hess suggests in the long run, Mr. Obama might be able to weather the storm over the NSA’s aggressive spying, especially since it seems to predate his administration. But the botched ObamaCare rollout may be more problematic.

“That’s a loop he had better be in because that is the legacy of his whole administration,” Hess told Fox News this week. “That’s a little different than whether Chancellor Merkel is upset today because somebody in the NSA was listening in on her cell phone.”

The Brookings Institute is a left wing think tank and generally will protect Democrat presidents. If this had been Bush, the Brookings Institute would have slammed him and deservedly so.

Politico has called claims the president was unaware of the recent episodes his “in-the-dark defense.”

“The bottom line explanation in all these instances is the same: President Obama didn’t know any more about the scandal than the ordinary person on the street, and certainly wasn’t involved in decision-making processes — at least, not until long after potential problems arose.”

And there is the problem. While Obama might get away with one or two of these, the fact that he claims that he, in the immortal words of Sergeant Schultz ((Sergeant Hans Georg Schultz)), “I know nothing! Nothing!” indicates one of three things:

1. Obama has no control over the internal administration of his staff and they are basically running amuck.
2. Obama does control his staff and told them he doesn’t want to hear about problems.
3. Obama is outright lying about not knowing anything.

Personally, I think Obama knew about most of this stuff and since it wasn’t what he wanted to hear, he just ignored it and lied through his teeth. He is a classic narcissist and borderline megalomaniac. In his mind, the world revolves around him, he can do no wrong and if something bad happens, it’s someone else’s fault, not his. This is exactly how most tyrants think.

With Adolph Hitler, it was the Jews. His way of dealing with them was genocide. Josef Stalin, capitalists and counter-revolutionaries. He dealt with them with slave labor camps, starvation and firing squads. Obama is of the same mindset. He doesn’t want to hear bad news, he surrounds himself with lickspittles and yes men and has no problem with using the organs of government to suppress those who disagree with him. Just ask the Tea Party, Insurance Company CEO’s, reporters, etc.

In another time, Obama would have been forced to resign or, since in his mind, he is perfect and can do no wrong, or he would have been impeached in the house and convicted in the Senate. In fact, if her were removed from office, more then likely he would also be indicted and put on trial in a court of law. (Something else he holds in contempt)

Pity we have a pack of cowards in the house and the Democrats in the senate make the Nazi and Communist parties look like the height of honest and law abiding governments.
