Obama announces “Fix” for Obama 404Care

Well, the SCoaMF just completed a press conference, which I totally ignored, and he has announced that he will perform an “Administrative fix” for all those people in the process of getting shafted by Obamacare.

Just what is he going to do? Well, you can count on it not being legal of course, but then nothing this lying piece of feces ever does is actually legal or constitutional. According to Fox News:

President Obama announced Thursday he would offer an administrative “fix” to a provision in the Affordable Care Act — or ObamaCare — that forces millions of Americans to lose their existing health coverage by directing insurance companies to allow affected policy holders to renew their old coverage.

Of course, just like his delay of the employer mandate, there is no basis in the Affordable Care Act, now known as Obama 404Care, that allows him to do this. But, as I said before, this crook doesn’t think laws apply to him, and that he is the king and can issue commands that “MUST BE OBEYED!”

The president said states and insurers can extend current policies canceled under health law for a year.

“I completely get how upsetting this could be for many Americans,” Obama said.

And there is the first lie in the story from Il Douche. He doesn’t “Get” it, and frankly, doesn’t care.

White House officials say a letter going out to state insurance commissioners will specify that current plans sold to existing customers will not be considered out of compliance with the health care law in 2014.

Sorry, that’s illegal. No can do. You want to do this, ask congress for a bill to sign. Oh wait, you like to ignore congress, don’t you, you lying piece of tyrannical manure.

A rash of canceled policies — primarily for people in the individual insurance market, whose plans are now considered sub-optimal under the new health care law’s coverage standards — have prompted public outrage toward Obama and broken promises.

Outrage is putting it mildly. Pure, utter hatred and blind fury would be more accurate. People are now seeing just what a load of horse manure Obamacare really is. The whole idea was to force people into a government mandated plan that is substandard and way to expensive. Now the cows are coming home to roost, so to speak, and they are roosting on the Democrats for ramming this down America’s throat.

It’s uncertain how the president’s “fix” will affect House Democrats who have been calling for a legislative solution — as the Republicans are offering.

They will take this and run with it…at first. Then reality will hit them, probably with a 2×4 to the back of the head. All this does is kick the can down the road and the American people will see it for what it is. A way to try and push this beyond the election.

While the administration is granting new flexibility, it remains to be seen if state regulators and insurance companies will exercise the option.

More then likely, they won’t. Unless they can point to a federal law, they aren’t going to take the risk of screwing things up even worse then they already are. If they try to play games with things now, it will blow up in their faces.

“It won’t solve every problem for every person but it will solve a lot of them,” Obama said.

No, it won’t. It’s not going to solve any problems. In fact, it will make things a hell of a lot worse. But King Putt doesn’t care. All that matters to him is working on his golf handicap.

White House officials are scheduled to meet with the House and Senate Democratic caucuses Thursday afternoon on Capitol Hill. They are expected to meet and strategize over patches to the law.

You mean like the patches that they are trying to put into the Obama 404Care web site? There is only one patch that can work on this. Full repeal of the whole thing. Roll it all back to the day before Der Fubar signed this disaster into law. Nothing else will work. We have been saying this for 3 long years, but the Progressive Liberal Democrats and their minions in the Obama Steno Pool have out and out lied to the American people. (The utter stupidity of the Republican Establishment, aka, RINO, hasn’t helped)

Don’t fix, repeal. Then start from scratch and figure out a way that minimizes the interference by the government in the health insurance and healthcare markets.
