A moonbat gets his comeuppance

And it couldn’t happen to a nicer hypocrite. Oh the schadenfreude is so delicious on this one! A member of the New York Progressive Liberal elite who helped shove the unconstitutional “SAFE Act” into law in New York, has been arrested for carrying a gun into a school. Now he is looking at four years in prison.

As you might expect, all the other members of the Progressive Liberal Moonbat Brigade are coming to this jerk’s defense. So who is this moron? He is a well known “Community Activist,” (Translation: Unemployable bum), named Dwayne Ferguson. Here are the details of what happened and what is going on from the Buffalo News:

Dwayne Ferguson spent more than a decade advocating for nonviolence and peace in the streets of Buffalo. He was a well-known face in the movement for the SAFE Act, the state law that made carrying a gun on school property a felony. He was also a familiar presence in the hallways of the city’s Harvey Austin Elementary School, where he worked in the after-school program and mentored students.

In other words, a useless moron. So just what did this “Pillar of the Community” do? You are going to LOVE this!

No one imagined that on Thursday he would show up at the school in possession of a gun, touching off an hours-long lockdown, search and ultimately his arrest on two felony charges.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *sniff* *giggle* Excuse me ladies and gentlemen. To continue, what was Dwayne’s excuse?

Ferguson, 52, told WGRZ-TV that he frequently carries the gun, for which he has a permit, and did not realize he had it on him when he went to the school as part of the mentoring program.

First, how could he forget that he was carrying a gun? They tend to be a bit heavier then, oh say, a mobile phone and tend to pull down on your pants. Second, why did Dwayne feel the need to carry a gun while “Mentoring” all those children? Was he a bit concerned they might shove a knife in his back and steal his shoes? Maybe it was to protect them in case of a zombie invasion! At least he has people who are supporting him.

“I’m sure Dwayne went into the school not thinking he had the gun on him,” said Rev. James E. Giles, a friend of Ferguson and president of Back to Basics Outreach Ministries. “We know this for a fact, that he called out to a Buffalo police lieutenant asking why the school was in lockdown, and that they were looking for a man with a gun.

Well, they didn’t have to look far now, did they?

“Dwayne’s reaction was to get his kids – he had about 50 of them – and make sure they were safe,” Giles explained. “He led them into the cafeteria and closed the doors.”

Now in the normal course of events, armed citizens moving to protect defenseless children is a good thing. However, the Progressive Liberal Elite, of which Dwayne Ferguson is a typical deadbeat member, (Hasn’t paid his membership dues, but then they all expect the dues to be paid by the taxpayers. It’s for the children), have decreed that schools are places for political indoctrination and therefore, in the name of Political Correctness, must be open for crackpots, psycho’s and nutbars to come in and slaughter everyone with no interference. Now I’m wondering how a member of the school staff forgot about this? Oh, Dwayne isn’t an employee of the school.

Ferguson is not employed by the Buffalo School District but was working in the 21st Century Community Learning Program, an after-school academic enrichment initiative that tutors disadvantaged students.

How about an after school program that actually teaches children things that are useful? You know, reading, writing. Mathematics, American history, (Not that PC crap they indoctrinate kids with these days, real history), the Constitution and proper spoken English? (American dialect)

Dwayne doesn’t seem to be the brightest bulb in the lamp, since he was all in with the New York Safe Act and the creation of Gun Free Zones Target Rich Environments.

He was among local activists who stood with Assemblywoman Crystal Peoples-Stokes last year lobbying for a law that would make possessing a gun on school property a felony. Prior to New York State’s adoption of the SAFE Act last year, in response to the Sandy Hook school massacre in Connecticut, it was a long-established state law that guns could not be brought onto school property. The only difference was that the crime carried less punishment as a misdemeanor.

And of course, deeming it illegal to carry a gun on school property will always stop criminals bent on slaughtering children. Oh wait, no it won’t. All it does is make it far easier for these whackjobs to do their nefarious deeds. So what is good old Dwayne looking at?

In an ironic turn of events, Ferguson was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon under that law for Thursday’s incident. The law carries a maximum sentence of up to four years in state prison.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Well, I’m sure you will make lots of friends in Ossining ((Sing Sing Prison)) Now to be fair, I’m one of those who think Dwayne should be released and his guns returned. This law is blatantly unconstitutional and is designed to make it easier for criminals to loot, plunder, rape and murder. However, being the good Progressive Liberal Moonbat that he is, I’m sure Dwayne will want to be an example to all. He should plead guilty to all charges and take the maximum penalty. It’s for the children after all.
