Saying “Bless you” after someone sneezes will get you suspended

Good day all. This story is just now coming out. Apparently a High School student said “Bless you” when another student sneezed. The result? She was suspended.

This piece of politically correct stupidity comes from Dyer County Tennessee. According to CBS Charlotte:

A high school student was allegedly suspended after breaking a class rule of saying “bless you” after a classmate sneezed. Kendra Turner, a senior at Dyer County High School, said bless you to her classmate who sneezed and the teacher told her that the term was for church. She said that we’re not going to have godly speaking in her class and that’s when I said we have a constitutional right,” Turner told WMC.

Ok, someone tell me why this teacher is allowed anywhere near a classroom? Shouldn’t this idiot be working with ISIS in Iraq murdering Christians? Well the student defended her actions, and of course, this didn’t sit well with the anti-religious bigots running that school system.

When she defended her actions, the teacher told Turner to see an administrator. The student said that she had to finish the class period in in-school suspension. The girl’s parents were told by school leaders that their daughter shouted “bless you” across the room and that it was a classroom distraction.

Bovine droppings. For a large number of people this is simply an automatic response when someone sneezes. They don’t even think about it. The correct response to “Bless you” in that situation is “Thank you. To top it off, it looks like the superintendent isn’t going to bother with things like an actual investigation and is going to back the moonbat in the classroom.

School officials told her parents Tuesday that the teacher claimed that their daughter was aggressive and disruptive.

Not everyone believes the administration’s view of the situation.

But Becky Winegardner, Turner’s youth pastor, disagrees with the school’s actions of in-class suspension.

“There were several students that were talking about this particular faculty member there that was very demeaning to them in regard to their faith,” Winegardner told WMC. “This was something that had come up previously in the last few weeks just since the beginning of school and I shared with all of those students what their rights were.”

So it sounds like we have yet another member of the Progressive Fascist Elite who wants to see all religion, (except the ones where they might cut the heads of people like this idiot), stamped out. Apparently, this incompetent moonbat has a little problem with other things, like free speech as well.

WMC reported that there are other expressions that are banned as part of class rules and they are listed on the teacher’s white board along with “bless you.”

Jawhol Mein Fuhrer! Your Orderz vill be obeyed mittout qvestion, Sieg Heil! Any teacher who lists words and phrases that can’t be uttered in a classroom is unfit to call him or herself a teacher. This superintendent is also unfit to be anywhere near a classroom and should be invited to seek other opportunities elsewhere. At the very least, the parents of all the students need to confront the school board, and if needed, either sue them into bankruptcy or replace them.
