Good day all. The news has just come out that the first Ebola patient diagnosed in the united States, Thomas Eric Duncan, has died of the disease.
Sadly, this was not unexpected. Ebola is a disease that kills most of the people it infects. The few people who have survived in the U.S. were pumped full of highly experimental treatments. As I understand it, those drugs were used up and a fresh batch wasn’t available. Mr. Duncan was given whatever drugs we had available, but to no avail.
When Mr. Duncan arrived in the United States, he wasn’t showing any symptoms that he was ill. However, a few days later he got sick and went to the hospital in Dallas where they, to put it bluntly, botched his diagnosis. I don’t know that it would have mattered, but if the hospital had paid attention to Mr. Duncan’s point of origin, Liberia, they might have put him into quarantine right away and started trying any treatments they had available. It might not have helped, but one thing it would have done is reduce the risk to other people in Dallas.
Currently, the family he was with is now in full quarantine and there’s a better then even chance that at least one or more of those people will get sick. While I hope no one else does get sick, the Duncan incident demonstrates just how incompetent the Obola Obama administration has been and continues to be with dealing with this epidemic. Rather then take the obvious step of stopping all traffic from the countries known to have Ebola, Der Fubar has, instead, put 3000 American troops right into the middle of it, and outright refused to take the steps needed to protect America.
I’ve talked with a few people in the bio-science field, and there’s been some discussion on how transmittable the Ebola virus is. (FYI, none of them like Obama very much) There is a lot of disagreements, bad information and lack of knowledge regarding Ebola. I certainly am no expert on the virus. One thing people seem to agree on, no one is trusting anything coming out of the Obama regime. They have a proven track record of outright lying to the American People. Now, there is concerns out there that if Ebola hits central and South America, we will see a massive wave of refugees making their way to the southern border. You know, the one Obola won’t lock down? If we start seeing sick people crossing into the States illegally, and King Putt continues refusing to lock down the borders, you will see citizens doing it themselves, and they won’t be to concerned with the “civil rights” of the illegals. They’ll just shoot them.
I offer my condolences to the Family of Mr. Duncan. As far as I know, he followed the rules when he came to the United States, and that’s all I ever ask of foreign visitors. It wasn’t his fault that he got sick, and he did seek medical help, and as I understand it, he did report he was coming from an area that has Ebola. May he rest in peace.
