Joe Biden, Impeachment Insurance

Good day all. Like many people, I wonder what it will take for Congress to finally look at impeaching and removing Barack Obama from the presidency. That he has and continues to commit offenses that are impeachable is beyond doubt.

With the midterm elections concluded, and the Democrats crushed at all levels, Obama is doubling down on his illegal activities. He is planning to grant amnesty to millions of criminal aliens now infesting the United States with their presence. I won’t bother going into the problems with the Immigration system, I’ve done that in the past. I’m using this as an example.

We also have the use of the IRS to suppress conservative and TEA Party groups, the fast and furious debacle that has killed hundreds of Mexican citizens and one federal agent, his rewriting laws that he doesn’t like, the list goes on. If this had all been done under a Republican president, he would already be gone. In fact, Nixon was forced to resign when he saw he was going to be impeached for far less then what Obama has done.

The announced reason that the House hasn’t begun the impeachment process is the claim that they won’t get any democrats to sign off on removing Obama in either the house or the senate, and in the senate, even with their new majority, the Republicans still won’t have the votes without at least some of the Democrats agreeing with them.

Since the election and the utter repudiation of the Obama regime by the voters, you would think that the surviving Senate Democrats would want to get Obama out of there. His narcissism, arrogance and refusal to do anything for the party should be enough to get them to vote to convict in the Senate. As we all know, the Democrats will never vote to remove Obama, even if he were to rape and murder a 12 year old girl on the White House front lawn in front of the entire news media. He is a Democrat and the Democrats are big into group think and party uber alles.

At least that is the obvious answer. The truth is that no one wants Vice President Joseph “Slow Joe” Biden to become president of the United States. We all know that Biden is prone to verbal gaffes. However, he has a history of being on the wrong side of every major decision since he first took office. Then there is his intellect. Brilliant is not a word anyone uses when talking about Biden. Dumb as a stump pretty much describes him.

Obama’s stated reason for selecting Biden as VP was his alleged foreign policy experience. Considering that he has backed the wrong side consistently, we know that isn’t correct. Another reason was Biden’s experience in the Senate. Granted he has been in office for almost his entire adult life, and his colleagues do like him, in an “Oh look, he’s put a lamp shade on his head” sort of way, few considered him to be a real mover and shaker in the political arena.

No, the only reason Obama picked Biden was to use him as Impeachment insurance. As long as Biden is the next in line, there is no way anyone will move to impeach Obama. As Representative Trey Gowdy put it when pressed by Bill O’Reilly, “Have you met Joe Biden?”

We are in for a long two years. I do not think the republic will survive quite honestly and if the Republicans are to cowardly, and the Democrats to corrupt, well, Jefferson’s quote on the “Tree of Liberty” might come true, and that could be even worse.
