Jonathon Gruber, the gift that keeps on giving

Good day all. If you have been paying attention to the Main Stream Media, you will not know about MIT Economics Professor Jonathon Gruber. If you have paid any attention to Fox News, you will know that he is one of the people who created Obamacare and did everything he could to hide the details of that pile of horse manure.

For the last week or so, several videos have been discovered showing that Gruber and the Obama Administration did everything they could to hide the actual effects of the law, to the point of outright lying. Like everyone else who actually cares about the rule of law and the Constitution, I’ve written a few things about Gruber. Of course, the Obama Propaganda Service, known as the Main Stream Media, have steadfastly ignored the revelations that have been coming out.

For the Democrats, Gruber has been an utter disaster for their plans. Nancy Pelosi, she of the famous “We must pass the bill in order to know what’s in the bill” speech has been caught out lying about knowing who Jonathon Gruber is. Here’s the first video where she touts all his work in writing the bill that became Obamacare.

And now we have her at a press conference denying she even knows who Gruber is.

Nice try San Fran Numbskull. Perhaps you shouldn’t have run for reelection. It appears you may be suffering from an advanced case of Moonbattyness.

Thanks to this, people are now digging around for any statements they made first admiring Gruber and then denying that he even exists. The problem with this is the massive video and paper trail showing Gruber meeting with major players in the creation of Obamacare up to and including Barack Obama. Here is a video of Gruber in his own words talking about being in the room with Obama as they decided to lie about the tax on so called “Cadillac” insurance plans.

Think about what he said. They literally plotted to lie to the American people and cover up the massive tax increases on health insurance benefits and plans that a lot of companies provide to their employees. These plans are considered the best possible insurance plans around, and a number of Union workers benefit from them.

Or they did. Now the Unions have figured out that Obama and the Democrats have screwed them sideways. They did everything they could to help with the “Big Lie” that is Obamacare, thinking they would be taken care of. Well, they were, just not the way they expected.

One of the reasons that Gruber was called in to work on Obamacare is his work in creating Romneycare in Massachusetts. Gruber has come out and stated just how proud he was in scamming federal money to pay for Romneycare. According to a story in Fox News regarding Romneycare, Gruber was quoted as saying:

“The dirty secret in Massachusetts is the feds paid for our bill, okay?” he said. “In Massachusetts we had a very powerful senator you may know named Ted Kennedy. … Ted Kennedy and smart people in Massachusetts had basically figured out a way to sort of rip off the feds for about 400 million dollars a year.”

And now you know why Mitt Romney wasn’t hammering on Obamacare during the 2012 election. He’s up to his neck in the fraud and deceit committed by Gruber. With all these comments coming out, I suspect that the calls for Mitt Romney to run, (and lose), for a third time are going to fade away.

Besides finishing off Romney’s presidential hopes once and for all, Jonathon Gruber’s remarks and antics are destroying the Democrats. The “drip, drip, drip” style release of what should become known as “The Gruber Files” are tearing the covers off the Progressive Liberal Fascist Democrats true feelings regarding the Average American. They think that people are to stupid to run their lives and that only those of “Proper breeding and education” should be allowed rule America and in the end, the entire world.

If you watch these videos, and check out the various articles and stories on Fox News, (Both the web site and the television network), you can see just how utterly corrupt the PLFD’s were in shoving Obamacare down America’s throat. You will also understand why you WON’T see anything about this on ABC, CBS, NBC or CNN. They won’t admit that they have been covering up for Obama and the Democrats for years. They will never let any mention of the “Gruber Files” appear on their networks, or in any of the PLFD controlled print media.

However, it might be a little to late to try and bury Jonathon Gruber. The PLFD’s lost big in the midterm elections, and with all the taxpayer money that was paid to Gruber, the Republicans are looking at bringing him up to Capital Hill for a few pointed questions. (I would love to turn Representative Gowdy loose on Gruber. I have no doubt he will walk that arrogant jerk right into a perjury trap)

It isn’t just the Republicans who are furious at Gruber, there are a number of so called “Moderate” Democrats who are coming up for reelection in 2016. You just know that the Republicans are already getting set to use Gruber’s comments against the Democrats. I suspect that if Gruber’s comments were far more widely known a few weeks before the recent election, a lot more PLFD’s would now be looking for a new job in a couple of months.

Another reason the PLFD’s are trying to bury any knowledge of Gruber is the recent decision by the Supreme Court to hear a challenge to Obamacare. The case, King v. Burwell, was supposed to be heard “En Banc” by the Washington D.C. court. This is the court that Obama and Reid recently packed with Progressive judges for the sole purpose of protecting Obamacare and all the regulations now coming out from various agencies.

As you might recall, when Obamacare was first bought to the USSC, Chief Justice Roberts essentially rewrote the law from the bench, which allowed Obamacare to go into force. I won’t bother rehashing that, plenty of people already have. However, this case is different and is aimed right at the subsidies that Gruber has spoken so much about.

Long story short, the case revolves around the actual text of the law as written, and the Internal Revenue Service writing a rule that appears to violate the actual wording of the law. The text states that only people who get their Obamacrap insurance through their states exchange are able to get a subsidy, if they are qualified to do so. If they get their insurance through the federal exchange, according to the text, they can’t get a subsidy. One of the videos released has Gruber saying that this was the intent of the law and was meant to get the states to set up their own Obamacare exchanges. The problem is, that most of the states either did not set up exchanges, or the ones they did were so flawed that they collapsed and were shut down.

In previous cases, the Obama Regime made use of Gruber’s knowledge of Obamacare extensively. Now they are scrubbing any mention of Gruber from this case. Here are a few details from Breitbart:

Professor Jonathan Gruber has been a continual presence in government court filings related to Obamacare. That changed last Friday when the federal government filed its opposition to a Supreme Court review of the King v. Burwell case without mentioning Gruber at all.

Gruber has been a long time advocate for the Affordable Care Act, having helped shape it. He defended it when early sign ups were lower than expected and again when claims began making their way through the courts saying the law as written did not allow federal subsidies to pass to those who purchased insurance on a federal exchange. Gruber called this claim “crazy.”

I can see why the Obama Regime wants to ignore Gruber now. It is no longer “Politically expedient” to acknowledge his existence.

But as Sam Kazman at the Competitive Enterprise Institute noticed, “in this latest document Gruber is gone.” His name and his metaphor are completely absent from the government’s filing last Friday, which opposes the Supreme Court taking up the King case.

I suspect that the Justices have also noticed that Gruber’s remarks are missing. I’m also getting the feeling that Roberts is realizing he made a major blunder when he rolled over on the original case. With Gruber’s remarks, this might be his chance to correct that mistake.

Gruber’s fortunes have reversed to the point that he is now being cited in support of the plaintiffs contentions about the ACA. The Attorney General of Oklahoma filed a motion in July to inform a federal judge of “newly-discovered facts.” Those facts included transcripts of the two speeches Gruber had made in 2012. One of Gruber’s statements is also cited in the appeal of the King v. Burwell case to the Supreme Court. But as noted above, Gruber is not mentioned at all in the government response to that appeal.

Gruber’s arrogance and his holier than thou attitude might finally sink the disaster that is Obamacare. His remarks, along with statements made in the prior case, seem to indicate to me, in my very unschooled opinion, that the Obama Regime committed a fraud on the court, or outright lied in their filings. If they do rule that the words in the law mean what they say, the subsidies that are the heart of Obamacare will be declared unconstitutional, and that overpriced garbage they call “Health Insurance” will be unaffordable for the people it was meant to help. That means Obamacare is dead.

As for Gruber? He should be hauled up to assorted committees in Congress and asked many pointed questions. I would also like a formal investigation be conducted to see if the $400,000.00 in fees he received were given to him fraudulently. I also wonder if any of the testimony he gave might have been perjured, either to the congress or to the courts.

And finally, I would like to see MIT sever their connections to him. If he has tenure, this may not be easy, but Gruber’s big mouth should be a siren to parents who are paying big bucks to send their children to MIT, they should be on the phone to the administration demanding answers. This isn’t impossible. They finally got rid of Ward Churchill and he did have tenure. I don’t think I’m alone in wanting that arrogant lying cretin, bankrupted, fired and fitted for a nice orange jumpsuit.
