Good day all. Last week, Il Douche fired Chuck Hagel as Secretary of defense for the crime of not always agreeing with everything that His Most Highness and Emperor of America, King Putt said, and in some cases, telling him he was outright wrong.
So, Obama had his High Executioner, Valarie Jarrett summon Hagel to the White House where Der Fubar ordered: Off with his head! Now Obama is in need of a new Secretary of defense. The following want ad has appeared in all the job sites.
“Wanted: Front man for failing national security policies. Preferred background: Experienced political hand with significant portfolio either in Defense or Congress. Must have skills at working as part of a team rather than acting on own initiative. Proven experience at dealing with declining budgets and overextended resources. Discretion a must. Equal opportunity employer, ie, willing to consider any political affiliation. Opening immediate. Contacts: either Denis McDonough or Valerie Jarrett. Include list of any YouTubed video remarks from the last six years, if applicable.”
Now you would expect that candidates for this prestigious position would be lining up around the block, and that stacks of resumes would be sitting on Der Fubar’s desk. It appears that this is not the case. Here are the details from Fox News:
The Defense Secretary job opening is emerging as a thanks-but-no-thanks opportunity, as some of the top potential prospects have already said they’re not interested in the job. Within minutes of reports Monday that Secretary Chuck Hagel would resign, the names of Michele Flournoy and Rhode Island Sen. Jack Reed emerged as top prospects. But each made clear by the end of the day that they didn’t want the coveted but high-wire, Cabinet-level post.
Gee, I wonder why, during these bad economic times, so many people would turn down this job? Could it be that no one wants to get saddled with the disasters that are coming over the next two years thanks to that SCoaMF, Barack H. Obama? Surely it can’t be that all these qualified people are concerned that they would be boarding the political equivalent a runaway train heading for a collapsed bridge over a deep ravine, would it?
You bet your ass that’s the reason. Obama has spent the last 6 years losing two wars that were all but won, destroying the military and, to put it bluntly, giving outright aid to our enemies. No one wants to be associated with the disaster that will happen if the new congress can’t stop Obama. So, anyone want to bet that some incompetent yes man type of boob is the one who is put up for confirmation? I have a feeling the confirmation hearings in the Senate are going to be very entertaining next year.
