Obama: Confirm Lynch or America gets it!

Good day all. In case you have been living under a rock for the last few months, Eric Holder, the most corrupt and racists Attorney General in easily a century, is stepping down. His replacement, Loretta Lynch is waiting for the Senate to confirm her.

Department-of-Injustice

Unfortunately for Ms. Lynch, a few annoying details have arisen in how she handle things in her current post, and how she will handle things in the future as Attorney General. Although she was approved by the Senate committee charged with holding hearings, (Thanks to three RINO’s), her formal confirmation has been delayed in the Senate. This has annoyed His Excellency and Most Worthless, King Putt the Last. Now he’s accusing the Senate of risking National Security. Here are the details from The Washington Times:

President Obama is accusing Congress of playing politics with law enforcement and national security by holding hostage attorney general nominee Loretta Lynch in exchange for leverage on legislation.

double-facepalm

This from the man who is all but handing Iran nuclear weapons? Please!

Mr. Obama blasted Republicans for preventing the female federal prosecutor from New York from succeeding Attorney General Eric Holder during his weekly address to the country to Sunday.

suck it up Buttercup

I see Der Fubar missed the class on the part of the Constitution dealing with the Advice and Consent of the Senate with regards to approving cabinet posts.

But lawmakers have delayed the nomination of Ms. Lynch by more than 130 days over concerns surrounding Mr. Obama’s executive action on immigration, which would provide temporary legal status to millions of illegal immigrants and reprieve from deportation. Now Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Kentucky Republican, wants to waylay that nomination over a bill known as the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act. The bill contains language that would prohibit the use of restitution funds for abortions.

don't confuse

Ms. Lynch was asked some pointed questions on the SCoaMF’s use of Executive Orders to bypass the constitutional separation of powers. She wouldn’t answer the questions. Instead she bobbed and weaved around the whole thing. There were other issues that came up regarding victims rights laws she might have ignored in her current post in New York.

No one can claim she’s unqualified,” he said during his weekly address. “No one’s saying she can’t do the job. Senators from both parties say they support her. This is purely about politics. First, Republicans held up her nomination because they were upset about the actions I took to make our broken immigration system smarter and fairer. Now they’re denying her a vote until they can figure out how to pass a bill on a completely unrelated issue.”

Well, there is some question regarding her competence now, and the fact that she wouldn’t answer questions on how she was going to clean up the mess Holder is leaving behind isn’t helping. The fact that King Putt is pushing so hard tells me that maybe she isn’t the right person for the job.

This is the third time in less than a week that the White House has lashed out Republicans for stalling a yes-or-no vote for Loretta Lynch. White House press secretary Josh Earnest during a March 16 press briefing described the delay of Ms. Lynch’s yes-or-no vote on the Senate floor as “an unconscionable delay.”

wambulance

There is not a single legitimate question that has been raised about her aptitude for this job,” he said. “Instead, all we’ve seen is a bunch of political obstruction from Republicans that, again, does not speak well of Republicans’ efforts to run the Senate in an effective fashion and certainly not in a way that’s in the best interest of the country.”

Actually, it IS in the best interests of the country to carefully examine anyone Il Douche wants for anything. His track record on selecting people isn’t all that hot, and the results of his choices are a soon to be former Attorney General being held in contempt of congress. That isn’t stopping the whiner in chief of course.

Mr. Obama repeated that point during an interview with Huffington Post, saying that it was wrong for Congress to hold the attorney general nominee hostage “for other issues.”

give-a-damn

Those “Other Issues” just happen to be serious enough that any Republican president would already have been impeached from office.

“Republicans promised that Congress would function smoothly with them in charge,” Mr. Obama said during his weekend address. “Here’s a small chance for them to prove it.”

generalissom Obama

In other words, just “cave in again and do my bidding”? Well, we do have the Coward of the Country as Majority leader, so having him roll over and present buttocks to you is in his blood. Still, the problems with Lynch’s answers are turning the Republicans against her. John McCain announced that he won’t vote for her and that basically lets the other RINO’s off the hook. We shall see what happens.

John McCain

Personally, I fully expect “Holder in a skirt” to win confirmation, and then I expect her to double down on Holders criminality.
