Berkeley students protest for cow’s rights

Greetings one and all. This story comes from the land of the Fruits and the Nuts, (That’s California for those of you IN California). Last week, on Mother’s Day, the Moonbats of Berkeley demanded rights for cows.

double-facepalm

Once again the Animal Rights balloonheads have demonstrated that they would prefer to fornicate with cattle then with people. The cattle are upset with this and the people are relieved they won’t have to touch these nutjobs. Here are the details from Campus Reform:

Mother’s Day held special significance this year for an animal rights group at UC Berkeley and other Bay Area activists, who claim that exploiting the breast milk of “another’s mother,” namely a calf’s, is unfair and disrespectful.

On May 10, the Berkeley Organization for Animal Advocacy (BOAA) at UC Berkeley protested the consumption of mother cows’ milk at Andronico’s Community Market and Safeway, two dairy and meat-selling grocery markets in the San Francisco Bay area.

DV the Stupid is strong

A group of about 20 students and alumni marched through the grocery markets consecutively, chanting lines such as “animals feel pain, just like us,” and holding signs that read “dairy cows are raped and forcibly impregnated” and “dairy cows are exploited for their breast milk.

stupid you are

Every time you drink the milk of a mother cow, there is a baby calf who isn’t,” BOAA organizer Reilly Gardine said in the group’s press release.

And it’s obvious that this moron has no idea just how much milk a dairy cow produces each day. Furthermore, dairy cows aren’t raped and once their calf is weaned, they continue to produce milk, so no calves are being deprived. Besides, calves make tasty veal.

There is no humane way to forcefully impregnate a cow and separate her from her baby, only to steal her milk,” Mike Harvey, another BOAA organizer, said in the press release.

headdesk

I would say that not one of those knotheads has ever actually spent any time on a farm. I have. I grew up down the street from a dairy farm and still have memories of the aroma that emanated from it when the wind was right. Dairy cows do several things during the day. They eat. They crap and then they get milked. In fact, if a cow isn’t milked, it can suffer from some serious health issues.

In addition to a press release and media advisory, BOAA created a video of their demonstration for calves:

Oh this should be good.

Oh the stupid, it burns! Make it stop!! Please!

The Stupid

The demonstrators were met with mixed reactions during their protests on Sunday. BOAA co-president Justine Carion told Campus Reform that the staff at Andronico’s “were actually really understanding,” allowing the group to peacefully demonstrate until they were done.

They probably considered it free entertainment for the customers.

Safeway, however, the group was met with confrontation as security seized the grocery products and posters that they were holding and asked them to leave the store.

I can think of a few places where this bunch of loons would be lucky if they weren’t branded and sent to the knackers yard. But wait! There’s more!

The group hosted a pig funeral at a local restaurant in Berkeley in March, as captured in the video below:

Oh, I’m so broken up, which reminds me. I need to preheat my oven for the pork loin I’m having for dinner tonight.

Pigs have proven to be smarter than dogs but a lot of Americans see them as just bacon,” Carion said.

I’m sorry, but she is mistaken. We also see them as sausage, pork chops, the aforementioned pork loin, etc. As to pigs being smarter than dogs? I do believe this is accurate, but dogs are loyal, friendly and protective with soft cuddly fur. Pigs are food and not good for much else. When was the last time you saw a pig trying to pull little Timmy out of the river?

In April, BOAA protested at a goat festival in San Francisco featuring a petting zoo and a meat-cooking demo, which they succeeded in shutting down, according to their website.

ISIS could not be reached for comment.

When asked about BOAA’s correspondence with the university and future plans, Carion told Campus Reform that the group is working with the university to introduce more vegan options “because we think that if options are easier and more accessible to students then they might choose them.”

I have no respect for people like these clods. They will always put animals ahead of people. If it comes down to saving the life of a child, or protecting Porky, they will let the child die. These genetic failures seem to have forgotten that humans are omnivores and have been for millions of years. We can, and do, eat pretty much anything.

You will notice that these ninnies never try a protest like this at a Texas BBQ. If they were lucky, all they would get is beaten to a pulp. They could end up as food for the pigs they so want to have carnal relations with. Oh yes, pigs will eat anything, even raw Moonbat.

Barking Moonbat
