UN Scientists say time is running out on Global Warming!

Good day all. Did you know that United Nations scientists have said that time is running out and soon it will be to late to correct Global Warming? Yes, it’s true. If we don’t cede all power to the UN, the Earth will blow up and we will all die!

There is just one small problem with this prediction. It was made in 2007 and the drop dead date was, drum roll please, 2015. Considering that I’ve just spent most of 2015 clearing snow off the driveway, I think it’s safe to say that the UN got it wrong. Now the original claim that we were all doomed by 2015 was printed in an article in 2007 in the Guardian. Here is what they said back then.

Governments are running out of time to address climate change and to avoid the worst effects of rising temperatures, an influential UN panel warned yesterday.

What rising temperatures? The global temperatures have been essentially flat for 20 years.

Greater energy efficiency, renewable electricity sources and new technology to dump carbon dioxide underground can all help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the experts said. But there could be as little as eight years left to avoid a dangerous global average rise of 2C or more.

Excuse me a moment. (The Angry Webmaster goes outside and looks around) Hmm, it’s about 62F out right now. Isn’t it supposed to be over 100 degrees if they were right?

The warning came in a report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) published yesterday in Bangkok. It says most of the technology needed to stop climate change in its tracks already exists, but that governments must act quickly to force through changes across all sectors of society. Delays will make the problem more difficult, and more expensive.

Delays actually showed that the IPCC was full of crap and always was. As we’ve found out, the various groups screaming “GLOBAL WARMING! WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!!” were not only wrong, they have also been found to have rigged the data they were publishing to make it seem that they were right. And there is the little thing about CO2 and what it is. It’s plant food. Plants, trees and food crops love CO2. They take it in and grow big and strong. Then they crap out Oxygen which is what we need to survive. Oh, the IPCC and the Church of Global Warming, (Algore Be Praised!), seem to have forgotten that little fact.

Rajendra Pachauri, who chairs the IPCC, said the report would underpin negotiations to develop a new international treaty to regulate emissions to replace the Kyoto protocol when it expires in 2012.

That would be the protocol we didn’t sign and that no one actually paid any attention to, unless they wanted to commit economic suicide that is.

The report said little on the best way to encourage greater take-up of cleaner technologies.

They didn’t need to say anything. The answer is always “GIVE US MORE MONEY!!!”

Harlan Watson, head of the US delegation, said the report “highlights the importance of a portfolio of clean energy technologies, consistent with our approach”.

And we now know what an absolute failure those “Green Technologies actually were. Hundreds of billions of dollars, Euros and whatever else flushed right down the drain. Anyone remember Solyndra? Of course, there is one power source that is clean and fairly cheap. As you would expect, the Moonbats are dead set opposed to it.

There were also rows about the role of nuclear power, with countries including Spain and Austria opposed to any form of words that endorsed an increase in electricity from nuclear technology.

MORE NUKES! LESS KOOKS!! MORE NUKES! LESS KOOKS!! MORE NUKES! LESS KOOKS!! And as for Spain? They are right behind Greece when it comes to the economy.

The report said global emissions must peak by 2015 for the world to have any chance of limiting the expected temperature rise to 2C, which would still leave billions of people short of water by 2050.

You can expect them to start pointing at California in 5..4..3..2..1.. Of course, the fact that a lot of California’s problems are self inflicted, like dumping 40 percent of the available fresh water into the Pacific, won’t be mentioned.

Hans Verolme, director of the WWF climate change programme, said: “The IPCC has delivered a road map for keeping the planet safe. Now it’s the turn of politicians to do more than pay just lip service.”

And what do these moonbats want politicians to do? At the more extreme ends, slaughtering 90 percent of the world population is one thing. (Links have been removed by the poster’s for obvious reasons. They are nuts) While the last part is out there, many of the Progressive Elites do believe in forced population control.

They would like to see the Chinese one child policy made global with all the horrors that has entailed for the Chinese people. They want to institute rationing and basically force people to give up everything that we now have. You can bet they would exclude themselves from any of their mandates.

Now, as I said, this was all written eight years ago. We now know that the whole Global Warming business was nothing more then a scam and a con game. Their predictions failed to come true, so they gave up on “Global Warming” and moved to “Climate Change.” They also refer to anyone who questions them as “Deniers” who should be shunned, jailed or killed.

I make jokes about the “Church of Global Warming” (Algore Akhbar), but if you look at what these clown say and do, it has all the trappings of a religion. Anyone who disagrees is a heretic who must be destroyed, and any data that disproves their beliefs has to be suppressed. These fanatics have lost the debate and are now doubling down, to the point where violence is probably their next move.
