Harvard University a racist collage?

Good day all. In the department of “Why am I not surprised?”, a group of Asian descended Americans are taking Harvard University to court, accusing them of discrimination.

Harvard university is one of the most unabashed left-wing schools out there. It prides itself on being the most politically correct of the politically correct schools in the nation. To be accused of being racists must be a blow to their very psyche. Here are some of the details from USA Today:

A coalition of Asian-American groups filed a federal complaint against Harvard University on Friday alleging the school engaged in “systemic and continuous discrimination” against Asian Americans during its admissions process.

Didn’t these people know that they are “White Asians” and therefore it is good and proper to discriminate against them?

More than 60 Chinese, Indian, Korean and Pakistani groups came together for the complaint, which was filed with the civil rights offices at the justice and education departments. They are calling for an investigation into Harvard and other Ivy League institutions that they say should stop using racial quotas or racial balancing in admission.

First, a small note. One of the groups listed is Pakistani. Most Americans do not consider them to be “Asian” but more Middle Eastern then anything else. However, the British do consider both India and Pakistan to be “Asian.” This has thrown a few people, such as Michelle Malkin who most definitely is of Asian decent.

Second, of course the Ivy League schools are discriminating against Asians as well as Caucasians. It’s only fair since we have benefited from centuries of “White Privilege.” (Which must really stick in the craw of Americans of Asian decent)

“We want to eliminate discrimination of Asian Americans, and we want procedural justice for all racial groups,” Yukong Zhao, one of the chief organizers and a guest columnist with the Orlando Sentinel, told NBC News. “All racial groups should be treated equal.”

I’m sorry, but it’s a well known fact that Asian students, followed by Caucasian students have an unfair advantage when it comes to getting into good schools. They tend to be better prepared then the inner city students of African and Central/South American decent. Why is that I wonder? (Stay tuned for the answer)

Robert Iuliano, Harvard University General Counsel, said in a statement that the university uses a “holistic admissions process” that is “fully compliant with federal law” to build a diverse class. He added that over the past decade the percentage of Asian American students admitted to Harvard College has increased from 17.6% to 21%.

Oh I love that! A “Holistic Admissions Process.” That’s another term for “We’re trolling inner city schools looking for people with dark skin who flat out aren’t going to graduate so we can show how “Progressive” we are.” Another term for it is racism.

“We will vigorously defend the right of Harvard, and other universities, to continue to seek the educational benefits that come from a class that is diverse on multiple dimensions,” Iuliano said.

Translation: Asians and Caucasians make all the rest look bad so we are going to keep them out.”

Iuliano also pointed to the Supreme Court’s landmark 1978 decision in Regents of University of California v. Bakke, which upheld affirmative action and specifically cited Harvard’s admissions plan as a “legally sound approach” to admissions.

That disgraceful decision instituted racism in Education. There is a reason people are holding the courts, especially the Supreme court in such low regard. They keep making these boneheaded decisions. Of course, this was in the heyday of the Burger court and that man should have been removed and criminally prosecuted for some of the decisions he rendered.

Meanwhile, other Asian-American groups and officials have released statements supporting affirmative action, including two members of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.

Another government agency that need to be abolished as a complete failure in it’s stated goals.

“Neither of us believes that any racial or ethnic group should be subjected to quotas,” commissioners Michael Yaki and Karen Narasaki said.

So tell me why you are supporting quotas?

“Nor do we believe that test scores alone entitle anyone to admission at Harvard. Students are more than their test scores and grades.”

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but test scores tell you a lot about the student, such as “Will they actually graduate, or will they either give up and quite, or just plain flunk out?” What we are seeing is yet another instance of the Progressive Movement showing what true racists they actually are. They believe that some groups are literally inferior and that the “Great White Liberal” must give them special privileges. Those privileges might be adding entry points solely due to the color of their skin.

Now I said I would tell you why most graduates from predominantly black and Hispanic inner city schools don’t do well in top notch universities. It’s their ethnic background or skin tone, it’s the fact that those schools have been ruined by the Professional, Progressive Educational Elite.”

Given good teachers, (Not unionized idiots), those kids could do really well. In fact, up until the moonbats took control of the schools, they usually did. Of course, back then there was real racism in who was selected for the Ivy League schools, and it did need to be corrected. Those days, or so we thought, are long gone. Instead we have students who are totally unqualified being admitted over those who should be allowed in, irregardless of their eye shape or skin tone. Personally, I hope these people win and rip these moonbats a new one.
