Gloria Steinem to lead invasion of North Korea

Good day all. Gloria Steinem, the prototypical barking moonbat, has announced that she is going to lead a march of feminists into North Korea.

For those of you who may not know who Gloria Steinem is, she was one of the big pushers for “Women’s Rights” back in the 60’s and 70’s. Since most of her agenda has succeeded, she has been looking for ways to keep herself relevant. Since she can’t find anything, she has decided to do something really pointless and stupid. Here are the details from Politico:

Gloria Steinem is among 30 female activists traveling from Beijing through the demilitarized zone dividing North and South Korea in a call for peace next Sunday. The event marks the International Women’s Day for Peace and Disarmament.

What? She isn’t going to lead her army of Moonbats through the 38^th Parallel? Oh, that’s right. They do have this little problem of that area being the densest minefield on Earth. I don’t think the NK’s have that many mines on their border with China.

The 81-year-old activist told Reuters that “it seems to me that the past of no contact has not worked,” invoking former President Ronald Reagan’s call to tear down the Berlin Wall.

You are no Reagan you antiquated battleaxe.

“We are saying: ‘Take down this isolation,’” she said, according to the report, which also notes that the organizers will meet with North Korean women and tour a maternity hospital, a women’s factory in Pyongyang and a preschool.

I wonder if the “Darling Leader” has approved this incursion? If not, these idiots won’t make it more then a few feet across the border before being turned into dog food…literally.

Both countries have approved the rare crossing of the DMZ, a rare event that has generated criticism among those who say the event could be used as propaganda by the North.

Well, that answers that question. I gather Ms. Steinem isn’t going to be given the nickname of “Kibbles and Bits.” So what is the “Ancient Moonbat” and her crew of SJW’s going to do once they get into North Korea? Why, see the sites of course!

In other words, they are going to be run through the North Korean’s version of a Potemkin Village. They won’t be seeing anything that the North Koreans don’t want them to see. If they should do something stupid and manage to slip their handlers, well, there are those hungry dogs.

Why are these knotheads allowing themselves to be used for propaganda purposes? Besides being barking moonbats and so completely delusional that they should have legal guardians handling their affairs, they are also Social Justice Warriors and think that by doing something that makes them feel good, things will automatically improve for the North Koreans.

SJW’s live for pointless and useless gestures. They even admit this to Reuters:

Ahn, a Korean-American, said it was time to try a different approach to solving the crisis, brushing off criticism that the walk is a naive publicity stunt. “We have no illusions that our walk can basically erase the conflict that has endured for seven decades,” Ahn told reporters, brushing away tears at one point. “I believe that we are, basically by crossing the DMZ, breaking through this mental state that this is a permanent division,” she said.

The problem is not South Korea. They would like nothing better then to not have to spend the billions they now do on protecting themselves from those lunatics in the North. The problem is that mental midget they have running the place. He is just crazy enough to launch a nuclear strike on South Korea and the United States. As for the people of North Korea? Not that they have anything to say about how their country is run, but they are probably the most brainwashed people on earth.

Gloria Steinem should just go away someplace and quietly fade away. She’s done enough damage already, and being a useful idiot for the North Koreans is not going to be the high water mark of her life. I hate to be the one to tell you this you old Moonbat, (Actually I am quite happy to tell her), but no one cares what you are doing. I doubt anyone born in the last 30 years has ever heard of you. I was happily forgetting you when I saw this bit of stupidity of yours. Or is it that senility has fully set in and you have lost all sense of reality?
