Good day all. Late Friday, Obama got his veto proof majority in the Senate when Barbara Mikulski, (D-MD), announced she would support the deal with Iran. Mikulski is not running for reelection and is noted as a hard core progressive totalitarian Democrat.
Not satisfied with his veto proof majority, (Which might not be there after all), Dingy Harry Greed has announced that the Progressive Liberal Fascist Democrats are going to filibuster the bill opposing the Iran deal. Here are some of the details from the Washington Times:
Democrats will try to mount a filibuster to block the Iran nuclear deal from even having to reach President Obama’s desk for a veto, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid signaled Saturday in a statement.
He and his party colleagues already have enough committed supporters that they would be able to sustain an Obama veto and allow the Iran deal to proceed, but a filibuster would be an even bigger coup, halting the issue earlier in the process and heading off a protracted — and potentially politically costly — veto fight.
“I recently informed Senator McConnell that after a period of robust debate, Democrats would be happy to proceed straight to a final passage vote that is consistent with Senator McConnell’s many statements that important matters in the Senate have ‘for quite some time required 60 votes.’ The choice is up to him,” Mr. Reid said, referencing Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Well, I think we can expect McConnell to rollover no later that Wednesday on this. He is a craven coward after all. As for the Democrats? As expected, they are not paying any attention to their constituents who are telling them that this is a bad deal and not to support it.
A surge of support for Mr. Obama’s stance this week has put Democrats well over the 34 votes needed to guarantee upholding the veto, and they are now within striking distance of the 41 votes that would guarantee a filibuster, too.
What McConnell should do is nuke the filibuster just like that scumbag Reid did. McConnell won’t because…craven cowardly statist. Now the Republicans are not without fault in this. It was their stupidity and incompetence that let Obama push through this Munich like agreement in the first place.
Under the terms of the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015, passed earlier this year, Congress has a chance to look over the deal Mr. Obama and other international leaders signed with the Islamic Republic, designed to halt that country’s apparent march toward nuclear weapons. The law gives Congress the chance to disapprove of the deal, but that bill then goes to Mr. Obama, who wields a veto. It takes a two-thirds vote of each chamber to override the veto, and if a bill were to get that far, supporters of the deal would face intense pressure from pro-Israeli lobbying groups.
Here is the problem. This is basically a treaty and what Corker and the RINO’s in congress did was abrogate their treaty authority. Now those chickens are coming home to roost as it were, and the Democrats are once again showing that they will always put the Democrat Party ahead of the Constitution, the Rule of law and the very safety and security of the United States.
As we have been finding out over the last month or two, since the news of this complete surrender to Iran came out, this deal not only doesn’t prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons, it pretty much guarantees that there will be nuclear weapons detonated in anger for the first time since Nagasaki. If Iran gets atomic weapons, Iran will use them. They have stated that they will launch them against Israel. They will also use them on the United States. They only thing that will slow them down is logistics. They will want to build enough weapons, and the means to get them to the targets before they will use them.
The Progressive Liberal Fascist Democrats and their allies in the Social Justice Warrior Army don’t care. Well, they will care if we lose one or more cities. Oh there is no doubt that Iran will be annihilated by the United States. What the PLFD’s aren’t considering is the reaction of the American people. Allow me to hazard a guess.
There will be either minimal or no trials. Obama, Kerry and all the Democrats who supported this deal and made sure it went into effect will literally be arrested and promptly executed. Their supporters in the media, collage campuses and elsewhere will be hunted down and killed. Their only hope would be to flee the country. You can read a fictional account of what this country might become in a book by Tom Kratman titled Caliphate. That is not a country I want to live in, but the Progressive Liberal Fascist Democrats are hell bent on creating it, even if they don’t see what will happen to them.

Actually, I think they DO see what could happen. But they are convinced that they can WIN the “minor” rebellion they expect to “attempt” to take them down.
I don’t think they’re right. But only time will tell.
