Good day all. As we all know, last week ISIS pulled off a mass shooting in San Bernardino, California. Almost before the dead bodies had cooled, the usual suspects were screaming “Gun Control!” Not to be outdone, Senator Barbara “Dumber than a box of rocks” Boxer let fly with some really choice stupidity.
She announced, less than a day after the attack that California’s gun control laws worked. Here are the details of her insanity from the Washington Times:
Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer drew hoots Thursday after saying California’s tough firearms restrictions show that “sensible gun laws work,” the day after a mass shooting in San Bernardino. “The fact is, sensible gun laws work; we’ve proven it in California,” Ms. Boxer said at a news conference with Senate Democrats televised by CSPAN. “And we’re not going to give up.”
All California’s blatantly unconstitutional gun laws did was make it easier for the terrorists to slaughter their victims. No one had the means to shoot back.
Her point was that in California firearms crime is on the decline overall — it’s been on the decline nationwide for 20 years — but the comment quickly became fodder for conservative commentators. Truth Revolt’s Trey Sanchez called it “one of the most ludicrous things that has ever passed a politician’s lips,” while I-Heart radio talk-show host Michael Brown described the comment as “[expletive] actually said today.”
And it gets better.
“It worked so well against the San Bernardino terrorists, not to mention other mass shootings in California,” cracked the website Weasel Zippers. The Daily Caller’s Jim Treacher added, “If you doubt that sensible gun laws work, just check out recent events in California.”
Barbara Boxer is stupid. She is just another, heavily guarded by people with guns, member of the Progressive Liberal Democrat Fascist Elites. We all know the reason the PLFD’s want the guns removed from the hands of citizens. They are terrified that one day, the people will wake up to what has been done to them and decide it’s time to refresh the Tree of liberty, and open the 4th box.
As I posted about yesterday, the only places where mass shootings and terrorist attacks are happening with success is in areas where the Right to Keep and Bear Arms has been suppressed by the ruling Statists. Whenever a citizen with a gun is in an area where these types of shootings occur, they have been able to break them up with few or even no deaths or injuries to the innocent.
We had the attack by ISIS backed terrorists in Texas that was stopped with only one officer slightly injured, and last spring there was another attempted mass shooting in Chicago that was stopped by an Uber driver who was lawfully carrying a gun. It all comes down to one thing. The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun, bomb or a knife is a good with a gun and the ability to use it.
Liberals do not care how many people their policies kill. They never have. The basic rule for them is the more people are killed, (provided it isn’t one of them), the better if it allows them to further suppress individual liberty and freedom. They know that America has given up it’s love affair with gun control. The people have seen what a complete failure it is. They have been pushing to reassert their rights under the 2nd Amendment. Boxer and the other PLFD’s refuse to accept this and Boxer’s statements show just how out of their minds they are.
