Good day all. With the opening of the new Star Wars movie coming closer, the stupidity of some people is increasing. Once again, noted MSNBC commentator, flaming moonbat and outright racist, Melissa Harris-Perry, opened her mouth and inserted her foot right up to her armpit.
So what did this moron do this time? She announced that the latest Star Wars film, in fact all of the films, are racist.
Yes, this Stuttering ThunderC**t of a Miserable Failure has stated that the Star Wars movies are racists because Darth Vader is voiced by a black man, (James Earl Jones), but was portraying and played by a white guy. Here are the details from Fox News:
MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry shared her views on race in regards to the “Star Wars” franchise on Sunday. The TV personality went on a rant about how when “Star Wars” villain Darth Vader was evil, he appeared as a black character (apparently because he was voiced by an African-American actor), but when he turned towards the light, he was revealed to be white.
Well, it’s obvious that this STcoaMF doesn’t know anything about the back story of the Star Wars films. Originally, the actor who played Darth Vader was going to speak the lines, and he did while on the set. However, George Lucas and the others decided they wanted a deeper voice, and James Earl Jone’s deep bass fit the bill perfectly. Since you never see Darth Vader without his helmet, (with two exceptions), It didn’t matter who was in the suit. One reason it wasn’t Mr. Jones, was his height. Vader was a big boy due to the artificial legs. To continue with what passes for Harris-Perry’s thought processes:
“Yeah, like, the part where [Darth Vader] was totally a black guy whose name basically was James Earl Jones…but while he was black, he was terrible and bad and awful and used to cut off white men’s hands, and didn’t, you know, actually claim his son,” she said on her MSNBC show. “But as soon as he claims his son and goes over to the good, he takes off his mask and he is white. Yes, I have many, many feelings about that, but I will try to put them over here.”
Obviously, this blithering idiot missed the third installment of the second series, you know, where Anakin Skywalker turns to the dark side of the force and starts out by slaughtering all those kids? (Yes, I admit it. I have been a fan of the franchise since it first came out. A/W)
Harris-Perry overlooked that Vader was revealed as the father of two Caucasian characters — Luke Sykwalker and Princess Leia — well before his helmet-off reveal.
Not to mention that James Earl Jones’ voice, which she gave as her proof Vader was portrayed as black when he was evil, was uncredited in the first two films.
Not to mention that most of the pre-teen and teen-age fans the films were aimed toward likely knew or could recognize James Earl Jones’ voice in the first place.
Not to mention that in the three-film prequel that followed the original “Star Wars” trilogy, Vader (then Anakin Skywalker) was white.
Yep, Melissa Harris-Perry is so hung up on skin color that she can’t see past it. She should remember the words of Master, (Oh my God! A Trigger word!! EEK!), Yoda. “Luminous beings are we. Important not, this crude matter is!”
