Good day all. Barack Obama, in his goal to surrender to the Islamic Caliphate, has been violating the law as well as common sense by emptying out the prison at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.
Congress has been trying to stop that miserable SCoaMF, but since they won’t do what needs to be done, (Impeach and convict), Obama is pretty much getting away with aiding and abetting terrorists. Now it’s coming out that one of the people he released was the guy who designed the shoe bomb worn by Richard Reid.
Reid, an Islamic convert tried to set off the bomb and blow up an airliner, but the device failed. He’s cooling his heels for the rest of his life in a prison. The designer, on the other hand, is now in Bosnia, no doubt designing new bombs. Here are the details from Fox News:
A legendary Al Qaeda explosives expert, whose invention of the “shoe-bomb” endeared him to Usama bin Laden and who may have known about 9/11 in advance, was freed Thursday from Guantanamo Bay, where he became a “highly prolific” source of information for the U.S. government even as his health spiraled.
Sounds like he was provided a wee drop of water boarding.
Tariq Mahmoud Ahmed al Sawah, a 58-year-old Egyptian who once taught bomb-making to Al Qaeda members and created a special floating mine used to target U.S. ships, as well as the footwear explosive used by failed bomber Richard Reid, has been transferred to Bosnia, according to the Obama administration.
Hmm, a mine and a shoe bomb, both of which did nothing. Perhaps he wasn’t all that good after all?
“He has been compliant over the last four years,” reads Sawah’s Gitmo file, which was made public by Wikileaks. “He continues to be a highly prolific source and has provided invaluable intelligence regarding explosives, Al Qaeda, affiliated entities and their activities.”
Hmm, compliant? Sounds like they took a page from RED and caramelized his onions with three tabs of acid and a sack of rats. However, now that they’ve let this thug go, what’s to keep him form trying to perfect his show bomb design?
Officials acknowledge in the file that Al Sawah could revert to his old ways, but note his “cooperation with the U.S. government” could make him unwelcome in terror circles.
So they are hoping that his customers will be unsatisfied and saw his head off? Frankly, that doesn’t sound like something we should be counting on to me. Frankly, releasing this clown is not in the best interests of the nation, and I’m not alone in that belief.
Andrew McCarthy, a former federal prosecutor who helped put blind Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman behind bars for his role in the 1993 World Trade Center attack, blasted both the Obama administration and Republicans for allowing the military prison in Cuba to be emptied of terror suspects.
“There is no more despicable dereliction of duty than a commander-in-chief’s replenishing of enemy forces while the enemy is still attacking our troops and plotting to mass-murder Americans,” McCarthy said.
“The Republican Congress has fecklessly signaled that it will take no meaningful action against the president’s subordination of national security to a radical political agenda,” he continued. “Not surprisingly, the president is proceeding apace: Since Congress won’t close Gitmo, Obama will simply empty it.”
Thanks to the treasonous activities of Barack Hussein Obama, the Democrats in general and the outright cowardice of the GOP(e) leadership, we are being set up for yet another mass casualty attack, rivaling or surpassing 9/11/2001. We’re already seeing the fruits of the Progressive Elite’s actions in the European Union and in the United States. Lone wolf attacks and in Europe, the flat out invasion by “Islamic Refugees” trying to bring Sharia Law to the world death to any who won’t submit. Thanks a lot Obama.
