Good day all. The Saga of Hillary Clinton’s email server continues. About a month or so ago, a Romanian computer hacker by the name of Marcel Lehel Lazar, who was serving time in a Romanian prison, was extradited to the United States.
People wondered what he did to get him sent to the U.S. and a much more comfortable prison cell. Well, it turns out that “Guccifer” as he is also known, appears to have hacked Hillary Clinton’s bathroom mail server. If he did, and it can be backed up, another claim by the Cankled One, will be shown for what it was. An outright lie. Here are the details from Fox News:
The infamous Romanian hacker known as “Guccifer,” speaking exclusively with Fox News, claimed he easily – and repeatedly – breached former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s personal email server in early 2013.
“For me, it was easy … easy for me, for everybody,” Marcel Lehel Lazar, who goes by the moniker “Guccifer,” told Fox News from a Virginia jail where he is being held.
Guccifer’s potential role in the Clinton email investigation was first reported by Fox News last month. The hacker subsequently claimed he was able to access the server – and provided extensive details about how he did it and what he found – over the course of a half-hour jailhouse interview and a series of recorded phone calls with Fox News.
This story broke last night and there have been a few updates to it since then.
Fox News could not independently confirm Lazar’s claims.
It would be very difficult to verify this claim since the only other people who may be able to, are currently investigating Hillary Clinton and her cronies regarding that very same email server. Of course, the Clinton Campaign had to chime in.
In response to Lazar’s claims, the Clinton campaign issued a statement Wednesday night saying, “There is absolutely no basis to believe the claims made by this criminal from his prison cell. In addition to the fact he offers no proof to support his claims, his descriptions of Secretary Clinton’s server are inaccurate. It is unfathomable that he would have gained access to her emails and not leaked them the way he did to his other victims.”
First, we know that Hillary Clinton has lied about this Email server from the get go. First it didn’t exist, then it was only used for personal matters, then yes, there was some traffic from the State Department, but nothing secret or classified was sent through it.
The former secretary of state’s server held nearly 2,200 emails containing information now deemed classified, and another 22 at the “Top Secret” level.
Guccifer has a reason why he didn’t “Spill the beans” on what he found.
The 44-year-old Lazar said he first compromised Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal’s AOL account, in March 2013, and used that as a stepping stone to the Clinton server. He said he accessed Clinton’s server “like twice,” though he described the contents as “not interest[ing]” to him at the time.
“I was not paying attention. For me, it was not like the Hillary Clinton server, it was like an email server she and others were using with political voting stuff,” Guccifer said.
Considering the amount of data, and the probability that Guccifer wasn’t aware that Cankles was using that server to handle classified information, it doesn’t surprise me he didn’t find the classified files. We would need to know what his search parameters actually may have been.
In describing the process, Lazar said he did extensive research on the web and then guessed Blumenthal’s security question. Once inside Blumenthal’s account, Lazar said he saw dozens of messages from the Clinton email address.
Sid Vicious, aka Sidney Blumenthal was banned from having any access to the Obama administration. While I don’t know how the government email system is monitored, I suspect that if his email address was found, Hillary would have been taken to the wood shed. As it is. Sid Vicious is in a bit of hot water himself over some of the information he had in his possession. Guccifer described how he broke into Blumenthal’s email account and how he traced things back to locate Cankles server. He also remarked that he had determined, once he accessed the server, that others were hitting it as well.
In the process of mining data from the Blumenthal account, Lazar said he came across evidence that others were on the Clinton server. “As far as I remember, yes, there were … up to 10, like, IPs from other parts of the world,” he said.
Hmm, places like Russia and China for instance?
Cyber experts who spoke with Fox News said the process Lazar described is plausible. The federal indictment Lazar faces in the U.S. for cyber-crimes specifically alleges he used “a proxy server located in Russia” for the Blumenthal compromise.
An intelligence source told Fox News last month that Lazar also could help the FBI make the case that Clinton’s email server may have been compromised by a third party.
For a bit of history here, Clinton ordered her hosting company to wipe the hard drive on her server, which they did. However, they didn’t do an actual erasure and once the FBI got their hands on the server, they were able to restore most, if not all of the data. Currently, they have about 150 federal agents working on this case. If there wasn’t all that much to it, most of those agents would already have been reassigned to other cases. As for those who say he isn’t telling the truth?
Asked what he would say to those skeptical of his claims, Lazar cited “the evidence you can find in the Guccifer archives as far as I can remember.”
Writing under his alias Guccifer, Lazar released to media outlets in March 2013 multiple exchanges between Blumenthal and Clinton. They were first reported by the Smoking Gun. It was through the Blumenthal compromise that the Clintonemail.com accounts were first publicly revealed.
And shortly thereafter, Cankles began her attempt to out do Richard Nixon on covering up criminal activities. As to what this all means in the grand scheme of things? Well, we already know that Cankles and her cronies violated a number of laws regarding the handling of classified information. Also, it’s always been assumed that Hillary’s email server had been penetrated more times than a hooker at a Shriners convention.
Guccifer may be able to provide corroboration to that belief, and if he can provide hard evidence, well, it’s just another nail in the coffin for Hillary Rodham Clinton and yet another major migraine for Attorney General Loretta “I just want this to disappear” Lynch. The demands that Cankles be criminally charged will overwhelming. And this is who the #NeverTrump RINO’s want to be president?
