Good day all. Yesterday I wrote a post about a Romanian hacker known as “Guccifer” who is in federal custody. He reportedly hacked into Hillary Clinton’s email server. Fox News broke the story yesterday after meeting with Guccifer in a federal prison in mid-April. However, it appears that NBC had the story for at least a month and was sitting on it.
NBC has not been very forthcoming on why they delayed with the interview with Guccifer. Fox News was able to turn their interview around and get it out very quickly after meeting him in the Federal Prison. NBC had access to him while he was cooling his heals in a Romanian prison. Here are the details from Law Newz:
As LawNewz.com reported on Wednesday evening, NBC News was the second major news network to announce an upcoming interview with the notorious Romanian hacker Marcel Lehel Lazar, better known by the name “Guccifer.” According to the NBC News press release, Lazar was interviewed by reporter Cynthia McFadden from a Bucharest prison, where he admitted to also hacking into Clinton’s private e-mail account.
Now for a little background. Lazar was extradited from Romania over a month ago. He didn’t fight the request, and it was known that he was claiming to have hacked Cankles mail server. This made people think that he was doing some sort of a deal. In any case it was probably 2 or more months ago that the NBC reporters met with him. Getting back to the Law Newz story:
As you can see from the transcript, Lazar is openly admitting to hacking Clinton’s private e-mail account. The same private e-mail account where federal officials found over 2,000 e-mails that contained classified information, including at least 22 deemed to contain “Top Secret” information. That is pretty explosive information.
The transcript is on the Law Newa page and I’ll let you read it there. Law Newz also reports that the State Department, which has been defending Cankles incompetence and criminal actions, promptly started that anything that Lazar says is a lie by a criminal.
Now, this is where things get a little strange. As was noted earlier, NBC News says Lazar made these claims to McFadden during an interview in a Bucharest prison and we know Lazar was extradited to the United States on or about March 31, 2016. So, it stands to reason that McFadden conducted the interview before he was extradited to the U.S. which means NBC News was sitting on these explosive claims for more than one month. Which raises the question, why would a major news network sit on such an explosive allegation — especially when the claim directly relates to a presidential candidate and the biggest story the 2016 presidential election cycle?
I can think of an answer, but I’ll let Law Newz provide theirs first.
Understandably, production on a special might take longer than usual — but given the story — networks have turned interviews around in mere minutes.
True, but those stories usually involved Republicans, not Democrats or Clintons.
The delay cost them what would’ve been a huge exclusive, or at least seemed to prompt them to hurry and put something out as Fox News went with its own story and interview with Lazar late Wednesday.
Fox met with Guccifer after he arrived in the United States. They turned the story around very quickly, and this caused NBC to realize that their attempt to cover up more evidence of Cankles crimes was going to blow up in their faces. In my humble opinion, NBC either forgot or ignored what happened in the ‘90’s when Newsweek spiked a story about Bill “The Silver Zipper” Clinton’s affair with Monica, “Mouth like a Hoover” Lewinsky.
The Drudge Report, which was a fairly new and not that well known, found out about the story and that Newsweek had killed it in order to protect Bill Clinton. That was basically THE story that made The Drudge Report and eventually led to the Impeachment of Bill Clinton for perjury. (He was acquitted in the senate by corrupt Democrats and cowardly RINO’s) While no one will say it, it’s seems to me that NBC, one of the paid up founding members of the old MSM, (Mostly Stupid Media), had no intention of reporting that someone had hacked Cankles bathroom server.
The only problem was Fox News, which has been doing yeoman’s work reporting on the investigation by the FBI. If it hadn’t been for Fox News and Catherine Herridge, the mail server, the classified messages and the probability that the server had been hacked would have been buried deep. Now NBC is scrambling and is trying not to answer questions on how they were scooped by Fox News when they’ve had the story for over a month. The obvious answer to why is that they were trying to protect the Clintons from their own stupidity again. When will they learn that those days are long gone?
