Fish gotta swim and Moonbats gotta bark

Good day all. Once again the Moonbats from the left coast are barking madly away, and as usual, making life difficult for people with actual jobs. This time, they’re blocking oil shipments to a pair of refineries in Washington.

Barking Moonbat

One refinery is owned by Shell and the other by Tesero. What upsets the Moonbats is that these places exist, provide good paying jobs and produce energy supplies that allow people to live a modern life. In other words, everything that a Moonbat hates. Here are some of the details of the latest stupidity from the left coast from Fox News:

Hundreds of climate activists on Saturday marched to the site of two refineries in northwest Washington state to call for a break from fossil fuels, while a smaller group continued to block railroad tracks leading to the facilities for a second day.

The-Good-Idea-Fairy-3

Protesters in kayaks, canoes, on bikes and on foot took part in a massive demonstration near Anacortes, about 70 miles north of Seattle, to demand action on climate and an equitable transition away from fossil fuels such as oil and coal.

Earth First

Has anyone told these idiots that their kayaks, canoes and bikes were all made using fossil fuels?

A day before, about 150 activists had pitched tents and set up camp on nearby railroad tracks to block the flow of oil flowing to the nearby Shell and Tesoro oil refineries.

“We can’t wait anymore. We’ve got to do things now,” Clara Cleve, 76, of Edmonds, said Saturday. “Direct action is very effective. My grandchildren are not going to have a place to live unless we move quickly now.”

Hippie

I wonder if this old bag understands that another meaning of the phrase “Direct Action” also implies violence and terrorism? I doubt it. She’s probably suffering yet another flashback from that bad acid trip she had in the 1960’s.

Cleve said she plans to spend another night in a tent on the tracks and is prepared to be arrested for trespassing if necessary.

Occupy-Pavement-copy

Perhaps she should think about prison instead? They can lock her away for up to a year I think, Then there would be the possible federal charges since she and the other idiots are interfering with interstate commerce and the railroads. Those laws go back over 150 years I think. (I’ll let the legal beagles talk about that)

The protests are part of a series of global actions calling on people to “break free” from dependence on fossil fuels. Similar demonstrations are taking place in Los Angeles and Albany, New York, on Saturday and in Washington, D.C., on Sunday.

Here’s the thing. Most people have no problem moving away from fossil fuels, however, they want to replace them with something that’s cheap, as or more efficient than fossil fuels, and doesn’t require unicorn farts to work. Currently, all the “Renewable” systems they so admire fail all of these tests.

In upstate New York, climate activists gathered at a crude-oil shipment hub on the Hudson River in an action targeting crude-by-rail trains and oil barges at the Port of Albany. A group of activists sat on tracks used by crude oil trains headed to the port. Police did not report any arrests as of midday Saturday. Albany is a key hub for crude-by-rail shipments from North Dakota’s Bakken Shale region.

The reason they didn’t arrest anyone was lack of need. No trains came through so they weren’t being interfered with.

Officials with both Shell and Tesoro said in earlier statements that they respect the right of people to demonstrate peacefully, and that safety is their highest priority.

Yeah, running over protestors with a train might cause a derailment. It will make a mess of the locomotives requiring cleaning of the equipment with a biohazard team.

A Shell spokesman also noted that the company, which employs about 700 workers at the refinery, is proud to be a part of the community and the refinery is a vital part of the region’s energy infrastructure.

Would anyone care to guess how many Shell employees were involved in these protests? I would bet none. I also doubt any direct family members are involved either. Why? Because, unlike most of these moonbats, they don’t have trust funds to pay for all their nonsense.

BNSF Railway spokesman Gus Melonas said no trains are scheduled through Saturday but he declined to say whether any are expected to run Sunday.

“We had anticipated this and therefore adjusted scheduling with customers,” Melonas said. “At this point, we’re allowing the protest on our property.”

And when the trains are due in, you bet there will be arrests. Personally, I wouldn’t waste the time of the local police. Just let the trains go through and set up a cleaning station to hose off the blood at the refineries.

The tracks, which connect BNSF’s mainline to Anacortes, serve the two refineries, as well as other customers who ship animal feed, steel and lumber by rail, Melonas said.

So these scum are not only trying to shut down the refineries, they also intend to shut down everything. I’m sure that when the companies send out the layoff notices, and the explain the reasons why, their employees will be so happy with these protestors. They might even demonstrate how happy they are with axe handles and baseball bats.

Skagit County spokeswoman Bronlea Mishler said authorities are monitoring the situation. Crowd estimates of the march range from several hundred to about 1,000 people, she said.

Bud Ullman, 67, who lives on Guemes Island, participated in the march, which he described as good-spirited, peaceful.

For now, but we know how quickly Moonbats turn to violence when they don’t get their way.

“The scientists are right. We have to get away from our dependence on fossil fuels, and it has to be done in a way that takes into serious consideration the impact on workers, families and communities,” he said.

So, shutting down the refineries and throwing hundreds, potentially thousands of people out of work is taking into account the impact on the workers? As to moving away from fossil fuels, well we can always start building nuclear power plants again. They certainly don’t generate so called greenhouse gasses. (Better known as “Plant Food” you morons)

“I’m here because there’s nothing more important to me than protecting the Earth,” said Elizabeth Claydon, 24, who lives in Seattle. “This is an urgent matter, and traditional ways are not working.”

Hey Bimbo! In the immortal words of George Carlin, the Earth has been here for 4 billion years. It will be here for another 4 billion years. WE Won’t!

Many of the nearly 40 groups involved in organizing the event were also involved in large on-water kayak protests against Shell’s Arctic oil drilling rig when it parked last year at a Seattle port.

And how well did that work out? Let’s see now. The platform sailed away, Shell sank some test wells and came up with…nothing. No oil. So the whole thing was a complete waste of time for these hypocrites. They also managed to totally trash the harbor they were ostensibly “protecting.”

headdesk

These people are nothing more than a bunch of really stupid morons who won’t live by the same rules they want to impose on the rest of us. Just take that “Screaming Greenie” Leonardo “I was raped by a bear” DiCaprio…PLEASE! He’s one of the biggest phony envirowhackos out there. Recently, he took a private jet from France to New York to pick up some Moonbat Environmental award and then flew it straight back to France.

head_up_ass

When are these leftist morons going to figure out that they are the true threat to the environment, and to the human race? Everything they do actually makes things worse, not better. It’s a religion for them and they, like all religious fanatics, can’t understand why everyone else doesn’t “See the truth” that they see. Like fanatics everywhere, when they don’t get their way, the resort to “direct action.” What’s next? Derailing trains, blowing up refineries and murdering anyone who works in the energy sector? In all probability, yes.
