Good day all. The Republican National Convention begins today. Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan will gavel it into session later today. Then Paul Ryan will try and figure out how to keep from losing his seat to his primary opponent.
Primary opponent you ask? Yes, the Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan has an opponent for his house seat. The challenger is Paul Nehlen, and he is making inroads into Ryan’s support in his district. In fact, there is a poll putting Ryan below 50%. Here are some of the details from Breitbart:
Following a new primary election poll showing that House Speaker Paul Ryan has plummeted to well below 50 percent in his home district, Ryan is out with new mailers assuring Wisconsin voters of his desire to secure the border, and urging them to support him in his contentious August 9th primary election.
The new mailers touting Ryan’s support for border security is interesting given that just last year, Ryan championed a spending bill that fully funded President Obama’s open borders agenda– including funding sanctuary cities, executive amnesty, and the release of criminal aliens. The mailers also come amid new reports indicating that, one month after his election, Ryan plans to bring up “criminal sentencing” measures that could release thousands of criminal illegal aliens from prison onto the streets.
Ryan’s mailers, to be blunt, are nothing more than flat out lies. The reason Ryan is in trouble is simple. Since he took over for John Boehner, he’s managed to make that drunken crybaby look competent.
“Keeping America safe is a big job. And it’s the most important one there is,” the Ryan mailer reads. “Protect our Homeland— that means securing the border, confronting Islamic Terrorism, and tackling new threats by stopping them from reaching our shores… Paul Ryan for U.S. Congress… Vote Tuesday, August 9th”
However, new reports indicate that immediately following his primary election, Speaker Ryan plans to bring up legislation that could release thousands of criminal illegal aliens from prison and into American communities. As Roll Call reports, “The House will take up legislation to overhaul the criminal justice system in September, Speaker Paul D. Ryan said.”
Ryan has been not just a disappointment to Conservatives, he has actually rolled over repeatedly and given Obama everything he wanted. He has completely ignored the Republican Base and their concerns regarding the border and radical Islam.
Interestingly, Ryan’s mailer does not list a single action Ryan has actually taken—in his seventeen years in Congress— to “secure our border” or stop the threat of radical Islam from “reaching our shores.”
Probably due to the fact that he has done absolutely nothing. Paul Ryan is a supporter of open borders and illegal immigration into the United States.
As House Speaker, Ryan ushered through Congress an omnibus spending bill that completely funded President Obama’s open borders agenda.
Ryan voted to fund Obama’s still-running 2012 executive amnesty for illegal aliens who allegedly entered the country as minors. Ryan’s bill also rewarded sanctuary cities with federal grants. He also provided funding for the resettlement of illegal aliens within the United States, the release of criminal aliens, and tax credits for illegal aliens.
Ryan’s spending bill also funded an expansion of Muslim migration, bringing the total number of visas for Muslim migrants this year (temporary and permanent) to nearly 300,000. Ryan has voted to increase Muslim migration— despite the fact that seven out of ten GOP Wisconsin voters want to see Muslim migration into the United States paused.
Paul Ryan doesn’t care. He is a solid member in good standing of the RINO Establishment. As far as he is concerned, his constituent exist solely to support him, nothing more. This is the reason he now has a primary opponent, and Paul Nehlen is letting Ryan have it with both barrels.
Ryan’s primary challenger, Wisconsin businessman Paul Nehlen, slammed Ryan for the deceptive mailers.
“The only thing more disturbing than Paul Ryan’s refusal to secure the border is the extent to which he is comfortable lying about it,” Nehlen said.
“As long as Paul Ryan is in Congress, immigration will never be reduced, the border will never be secured, radical Islam will never be kept off our shores, and our children will never be safe,” Nehlen continued. “He is wholly owned by his donors, and his donors want open borders. When was the last time Ryan ever fought hard for something that his donors opposed? If Ryan remains, we can kiss our borders, our safety, and our sovereignty goodbye.”
Ryan is typical of the Republican Establishment Elite. He has totally missed what is going on in the country. The voters are sick and tired of being lied to by the likes of Paul Ryan, and that is why Donald Trump will be officially named as the Republican nominee for the office of President of the United States.
Ryan’s primary isn’t until August, and many things could happen between then and now. However, if Ryan is defeated by his primary challenger, he will be, as far as I’ve been able to determine, the first Speaker of the House to lose to his primary challenger.
Ryan remembers what happened to Eric Cantor a few years ago and he is terrified it will happen to him. This is why he is sending out all those misleading fliers. He’s hoping his constituents are to stupid to realize what a lying slimeball he is. With a little bit of luck and a lot of hard work by Mr. Nehlen, Ryan will shortly be on the phone with his old pal, Eric Cantor, looking for a job on Wall Street.
