Debbie Downer flies into exile

Good day all. The train wreck that is the Democrat national Convention continues. Yesterday, Debbie Wasserman Schultz was forced to step down as head of the Democrat National Convention.

Now, news has come out that Debbie Downer won’t even be allowed to gavel open and close the convention. In fact, she has left Philadelphia. Yes, Debbie Downer has flown into exile. Here are the details so far from the Sun Sentinel:

Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Weston, chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, won’t gavel her party’s national convention to order on Monday afternoon. In a brief phone conversation with the Sun Sentinel, she said:

“I have decided that in the interest of making sure that we can start the Democratic convention on a high note that I am not going to gavel in the convention,” Wasserman Schultz said.

“I stepped down the other day because I wanted to make sure that having brought us to this momentous day and to Philadelphia and planned the convention that is going to be the best one that we’ve ever had in our party’s history that this needs to be all about making sure that everyone knows that Hillary Clinton would make the best president,” she said.

Who says that Debbie Wasserman Schultz can’t take a hint? In this case, the hint was nonstop booing and catcalls with rumors that people were looking for rope and a light pole.

Angry Democrats heckled her with boos and cries of “Shame!” as the party tried to move past embarrassing leaked emails that suggested DNC staff favored Clinton over Bernie Sanders during the presidential primaries.

The last report I have was from the Howie Carr Show. They announced that Debbie Downer was now on a flight back to Florida. Debbie Downer has a primary challenger and I suspect she has just gone from being the front runner, to looking over her shoulder. Good bye Debbie. I can’t say we’re going to miss you.
