Good day all. It seems that the Democrat National Committee made a small error in setting up the Wells Fargo site for the convention. They forgot to include any American flags.
The lapse was noticed by many people, although it was ignored by the Mostly Stupid Media. (Except Fox News. They did notice it) What was seen were flags representing the nonexistent state of Palestine, the Union of soviet Socialist Republics and other nations that aren’t the United States of America. (Nice to see just where the Democrats stand on our country) Well, the DNC belatedly placed an order for American flags. Here are the details from The Daily Mail:
After slogging through a boisterous convention on the floor, Democrats were forced to make a last-minute adjustment to the on-stage decor, after a report pointed out there were no American flags present. Democrats unveiled a sleek stage to the nation Monday, after the convention had been in the works for months. As speaker after speaker took the stage, screens behind them produced stunning scenery of the country and cool grey backgrounds.
Yes, I’ve seen it. It’s very pretty. However, it was missing something.
But there wasn’t a single American flag onstage – notwithstanding the fact that most of the speakers were lawmakers, who each have Capitol offices festooned with flags and other patriotic ware.
It was an aesthetic contrast to the GOP convention, which was draped in patriotic imagery. There were no fewer than 36 American flags on stage at the time of Donald Trump’s convention speech last Thursday.
The contrast is easy to explain. Trump and most of the Republicans are patriots who believe in America. The Majority of Democrats aren’t and don’t.
The flag’s absence mostly escaped notice, even as Democrats opened the proceedings with both the pledge of allegiance and the Star Spangled Banner, which celebrates the missing flag.
But after the Daily Caller reported on the unusual absence, an official was observed wheeling flags onto the stage Tuesday.
This should tell you all you need to know regarding the differences between the Democrats and Republicans. The Democrats find the very existence of the United States of America and all it’s symbols to be deeply offensive. The fact that no one caught the problem of missing flags, at least American flags, isn’t at all surprising.
