Actually, no we won’t. Good day all, Vice President Joseph “Slow Joe” Biden is on his final gaffe tour. Currently he is in Canada, happily making a complete idiot of himself.
His latest bit of stupidity concerns Obama’s habit of ignoring Congress and attempting to enforce treaties via fiat, in this case, the Paris Climate accords among other things. So what did Slow Joe state was never going to happen? He said that there was no way President-Elect Trump would be able to roll back all the “Advances” King Putt has done on the climate and environment. Here are the details from the Washington Times:
Vice President Joseph R. Biden told Canadian officials Friday that President-elect Donald Trump can’t reverse U.S. policy on climate change.
“Regardless of whether the next administration is as aggressive as we were, there’s no way to turn back,” Mr. Biden said in Ottawa. “This tide has begun to roll.”
In meetings with liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau before Mr. Biden leaves office, the vice president said U.S. climate change policies will continue under Mr. Trump because much of the effort is now controlled by market forces and by actions at the state level.
“Many of the trends that have taken hold are no longer government dependent, they’re market driven,” Mr. Biden said.
Perhaps someone should explain to this moron that the states, in most cases, were outright threatened by the current administration, and that those states that jumped into the left’s church of global warming are basically, collapsing in on themselves. Oh, those states? They’re controlled by the Democrat Party and have been driving businesses and people out for over 20 years. But Slow Joe doesn’t have enough functioning brain cells to actually see what is happening. As for private enterprise? Do you recall Solyndra?
The vice president visited the Canadian capital as Mr. Trudeau was completing a move to put a national price on carbon emissions. Mr. Trump has said he’ll pull the U.S. out of a global agreement signed by Mr. Obama to reduce carbon emissions.
If the Canadians want to destroy their economy, who are we to stop them? President-Elect Trump has seen just how destructive these “agreements” have been to the average person, and since the treaty wasn’t sent to congress for ratification? Into the shredder it goes January 21st.
Mr. Biden urged Canadian officials to act swiftly to address climate change, and thanked Canada for its “continued leadership” on the issue.
“It’s going to be absolutely critical in the years ahead,” he said.
I don’t follow Canadian politics so I don’t know what the general opinion of their Prime Minister is. From what little I’ve seen, he’s just as big an embarrassment to Canada as Barack Obama has been to the United States. Joe Biden is going away soon. He’s making noises regarding running for President in 2020, but that’s all it is, noise. In a few weeks, Joe Biden will retire into obscurity and senility. I would say I will miss him, but that would be an untruth. Good bye and good riddance to Joe Biden, the dumbest Vice President we’ve had in living memory.
