Democrats haven’t learned the first rule of holes

Which is, “when you find yourself in one, STOP DIGGING!” Good day all. The Progressive Liberal Democrats are still in denial over the crushing defeat of their candidate, Felonia von Pantsuit. Now, they are demanding an audit of the presidential election.

The demand is in the form of a petition on Change.org, and it demands that a full audit of the 2016 presidential election be performed. Here is what the petitioners reasoning, (if you can call it that), is:

The FBI determined some months ago that hacking, originating from Russia, was having an influence on our electoral process. These hackers interfered with our presidential election through attempted and successful penetration of email and voter registration databases, among other systems. This created fear, uncertainty, and doubt about the safety of our electoral processes.

Actually, no they didn’t. As of right now, no one actually knows who phished John Podesta and stole his email, then handed it over to Wikileaks. The method of the attack was so simple a teenage script kiddy could do it. As to the “successful penetration of voter registration databases?” That is highly unlikely to downright impossible. It’s also the first I’ve heard of any such thing.

Computers tabulated the vast majority of the 129 million votes cast in the presidential election, and polls were wildly off. Did hackers manipulate the results by compromising voting equipment? Did other problems, glitches, or errors affect the outcome?

You are using the polls taken prior to the election as entirely accurate? You must be a special kind of stupid. As to “Hacking the voting machines? There are many ways voting is done. Some is electronic, some is mechanical and some require a pencil. (Paper ballots) None of the electronic voting machines are connected to the internet, and aren’t even networked to each other. To “Hack” one requires physical access to it. There were a number of reports of people voting for Donald Trump and then seeing their votes switched to Felonia von Pantsuit. Are you saying the Russians did this?

There’s a simple, relatively inexpensive way to find out: audit the electronic results against the paper ballots used by about 75% of U.S. voters.

Actually, it isn’t that inexpensive. It will cost millions of dollars.

American democracy depends on public trust of our electoral process, and public trust requires a trustworthy process.

Hey! We finally agree! How about we purge all the dead Democrat voters from the rolls?

Please sign to demand that election officials double-check the electronic results by conducting a “risk-limiting” audit of the presidential election in every state that uses paper ballots.

No thanks.

Now, for the sake of argument, let’s assume that the audit you are demanding actually takes place. Didn’t you learn anything from the recent recounts demanded by Jill Stein? To date, they’ve found significant voter fraud in Michigan, interestingly enough, in the “Deep Blue” areas such as Detroit. The fraud was in von Pantsuit’s favor.

Then we have California. This is the state that gave Felonia the “alleged” popular vote majority. If a full blown audit were done, just how many votes would be found to have been cast by illegal aliens or others who have no right to vote in the recently concluded election? One rumor is that over a million votes in California alone were fraudulent. Your audit request could end up doing even more damage to your Precious Progressive Democrat Party.

Hmmm…

Perhaps an audit might not be such a bad idea after all. Just think of all the exploding Democrat heads if an audit found that the Democrats and not the Russians were the ones who were working to rig the election.
