Good day all. Yesterday, a little acorn was dropped by White House press secretary Sarah Sanderson. Her remarks, if she is speaking with some information we don’t have, should scare the crap out of James Comey.
During the daily press briefing yesterday, she commented that the Department of Justice should take a look into former director of the FBI, James Comey. Here are some interesting details from Fox News:
The Department of Justice should consider prosecuting James Comey for his “improper” actions while serving as FBI director, the White House said Tuesday. Sarah Sanders, the White House press secretary, argued during the daily press briefing that Comey’s actions as FBI director “were improper and likely could have been illegal.”
Asked if President Trump wants the Department of Justice to prosecute Comey, Sanders said that’s “something they should certainly look at.”
Since Comey was fired by President Trump, more and more information has been coming out on just how bad he was as director of the FBI. Information has come to light regarding the criminal investigation into Felonia von Pantsuit’s email activities that Comey never intended to recommend that criminal charges should be brought. He’s also starting to be compared to J. Edgar Hoover, and not in a good way, in his running of the FBI. Now Congress wants to get him back on the Hill and look into whether or not he lied to them.
Sanders said the former FBI director “politicized an investigation by signaling he would exonerate Hillary Clinton before he ever interviewed her or other key witnesses.”
That’s in reference to new allegations Comey drafted an “exoneration statement” for Clinton weeks before interviewing her during the investigation into her email server.
Sanders also said Comey, “by his own admission, leaked privileged government information.”
That’s in apparent reference to Comey’s acknowledgement during a June congressional hearing that he authorized the leaking of a memo about his conversations with the president to the New York Times.
Sen. Lindsey Graham told Fox News’ Catherine Herridge last week that he wants to bring back Comey to Capitol Hill, over concerns about Comey’s statements on the conclusion of the Clinton email case.
“This doesn’t add up, and I smell a rat here,” Graham, R-S.C., said.
Comey is the focus of two known investigations, including a Hatch Act investigation by the Justice Department’s Office of Special Counsel.
The Justice Department’s inspector general is also looking into Comey’s handling of the Clinton email investigation, and whether he violated procedures and went outside the chain of command when he announced in July 2016 he was not recommending criminal charges for Clinton.
Oh I think it’s safe to say he did. When he gave his “report” on Felonia’s activities, everyone thought he would be recommending that she be indicted, thus ending the Clinton Crime Cartel once and for all. When that worthless piece of crap said that no prosecutor would ever take such a case, everyone knew the fix was in.
Comey’s actions after being fired also show that he saw himself as someone who had to “Stop Trump!” no matter what the cost. His illegally leaked memos led to the appointment of the equally corrupt Uniparty swamp dweller Robert Mueller. The very fact that Mueller is such good friends with Comey should have precluded him from taking the position, but..Corrupt.
It will be interesting to see how Mueller reacts if Comey is actually indicted and arrested. It may give President Trump all the nails he will need to fasten down the lid on Mueller’s coffin, figuratively speaking. At the very least, it will be an interesting show.
