Democrats turning on leaders?

Good day all. Last week the mostly stupid media was screaming from the rafters about President Trump meeting with Senator Upchuck Schumer and Representative San Fran Nan Pelosi. The meeting involved Immigration and the raising the debt ceiling, among other things.

The usual suspects on the GOP(e) went on a rampage yelling “Betrayal!!” It got worse when Upchuck and San Fran Nan came out and said that President Trump was backing their plans on Immigration and the wall. That lasted right up until President Trump found the time to send out a tweet saying “Not so fast there dudes.” Now it looks like the Rank and File Democrats might also be turning on Schumer and Pelosi. Here are some of the details from Fox News:

Congressional Democrats are expressing concern and frustration about their top two leaders making legislative deals with President Trump, despite the negotiations giving their party a bigger say in Washington.

There’s just no pleasing some people, is there?

Trump’s apparent agreement Wednesday night with Democratic leaders to protect an estimated 800,000 young people who came to the United States under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals has upset the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, a source told Fox News.

Caucus members are largely concerned about not having input before Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi strike any deals, including one that could include a U.S.-Mexico border wall or any other border security in exchange for protecting the hundreds-of-thousands of so called “Dreamers.

Why would Upchuck and San Fran Nan feel the need to “Consult” with the congressional “La Raza” caucus? They already know what they want. Open borders, unfettered immigration, unlimited welfare, letting them vote in elections even though they aren’t citizens, and making Spanish the language of the United States. This just saved time, that’s all.

Earlier this month, Schumer, New York, and Pelosi, California, struck a deal with Trump that allowed Congress to provide emergency funding for Hurricane Harvey relief in exchange for funding the government and raising the debt ceiling for roughly the next three months.

And that’s what started the GOP(e) wing of the Beltway Uniparty squealing. It blew a large hole in their plans to protect their phony baloney jobs in 2018. McConnell and Ryan had planned to another one of their usual can kicking legislative maneuvers only to see President Trump kick their plans in the nuts. Now they will have to deal with everything, on the record no less, prior to the mid-term election.

Virginia Democratic Rep. Gerry Connolly this week told Politico that the party’s rank-and-file base wants to at least know periodically that “parameters are being set.”

This is the Democrat party. Central control in the hands of the few is one of your party’s planks isn’t it? You will simply do what your pack leaders tell you to do and of you don’t like it? Tough.

‘Let’s not fool ourselves,” Connolly also said. Trump “is this person we know, and I just think there must be both political and moral limitations with how far we’re willing to cooperate with that.”

In other words, “HOW DARE YOU? How dare you even consider talking with that evilbadnotgood Donald Trump! We all know he was put into the Oval office by Vladimir Putin. If Felonia von Pantsuit wasn’t such a horrid candidate, we would all be happily imposing our socialist views on the lower classes.”

Congressional Republicans are also concerned, considering they control and House and Senate, with fellow party member Trump in the White House.

For all the good they’ve done with it. McCockless and Eddie Munster have shown the voters what a pair of utter incompetents they are, concerned only with keeping themselves in the seats of power. President Trump gave them their chance and they blew it.

Trump said he was “fairly close” to an agreement that could protect Dreamers while adding border security, as long as his long-promised wall with Mexico was also separately addressed.

Frankly, I don’t give a rats behind about the “Dreamers.” Ship them back with their parents.

Pelosi and Schumer have insisted there was discussion and even agreement on legislation that would offer eventual citizenship to the immigrants in question.

It looks like Upchuck and San Fran Nan only heard what they wanted to. When this came out, the White House basically said “Hey wait a minute here. That’s not what we discussed or agreed to. But then, Upchuck and San Fran Nan are not noted for their grasp on reality.

That, or they thought that President Trump would do the usual Republican Rollover and agree to what Schumer and Pelosi announced they agreed to. Unfortunately, Donald Trump is not a member in good standing of the GOP(e). He didn’t roll over and said these two were in error. Basically, they tried to paint him in a corner, and he just walked across the wet paint and shivved them.

Trump has appeared to enjoy his newfound luster as a bipartisan dealmaker since the disaster-and-debt deal he struck with Pelosi and Schumer last week stunned Washington and garnered a stack of positive headlines.

This worked because Trump was sent to Washington to drain the swamp and get things done. McCockless and Ryano were to concerned with protecting themselves and the other RINO’s and not with what was needed for Texas and now Florida. Instead of playing by their rules, Trump rolled right over them and got things done.

Trump has referred to Schumer and Pelosi as “Chuck and Nancy” and struck the deals after Senate Republicans failed to pass a measure to repeal and replace ObamaCare, leaving a major Trump campaign promise unfulfilled.

And the Mostly Stupid Media, along with the RINO Never Trump talking heads all tried to blame President Trump. That failed miserably. Everyone saw that President Trump was willing to sign a good bill and McCockless and Ryano couldn’t get anything passed.

Schumer, too, clearly relishes the deal making; he was caught on a live microphone on the Senate floor Thursday gleefully telling Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.: “He likes us! He likes me, anyway.”

All Upchuck needs is a live mike and a camera, and someone paying attention to him and he’s happier then Bill Clinton in a teenage girls bedroom. However, his caucus isn’t happy.

The willingness to engage with a president reviled by their party also worries liberals like Rep. Raul Grijalva, D-Ariz., who warned against “proceeding toward normalizing him.”

President Trump, much to the disgust of the Beltway Uniparty and their propaganda arm, is showing himself to be something they all despise. A man who means what he says and says what he means. President Trump made a few promises and he’s working to keep them. It’s the Democrats and RINO’s that are standing in the way.

There are a few people who think that 2018 is going to be an outright slaughter of the Democrats. I agree with this. I also think that a few Republicans may also be “Cantorized” in their primaries and be replaced with people who want to work with Trump for the good of the nation, and not for the good of themselves. This is why the swamp dwellers hate him so much. Like General Grant, Trump fights.

I do have some sympathy for the children who got dragged, or dumped, here by their criminal parents.
As for citizenship no problem, after a long term of honorable military service and a clean civilian record. they would be eligible for naturalization. Any crimes prevent citizenship. They can get it, but have to earn it. On that note perhaps make citizenship an additional benefit of some of the higher awards for valor.

Hoping that Ryan is one of the big ones that is subject to the verb we invented here in VA-7.
