Trump verses the United Nations

Good day all. President Trump is going to be making his first address to the United Nations today, and, depending on your point of view, it will either be a horrifying nightmare, or it will be Epic.

President Trump has already made a few comments that have made the Globalists cringe, much like he did with NATO. He’s already started with comments on how inept, (Diplomatically speaking of course), the UN is. For instance, according to ABC News:

“The United Nations was founded on truly noble goals,” Trump said upon joining U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley, the U.N.’s senior leadership and leaders of more than 120 other nations at a forum focused on U.N. reform.

“Yet in recent years, the United Nations has not reached its full potential because of bureaucracy and mismanagement,” Trump said at the forum titled, “Reforming the United Nations: Management, Security, and Development.”

That was a very nice way of saying that the United Nations is mismanaged by a bunch of Third World Kleptocrats and Eurotrash Elitists who’s only concern is their next paycheck on the American Taxpayer’s dime.

Trump said increases in the U.N.’s budget and staffing haven’t yielded results. He commended U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres on calling for a “focus more on people and less on bureaucracy.”

“We seek a United Nations that regains the trust of the people around the world,” Trump said. “In order to achieve this, the United Nations must hold every level of management accountable, protect whistleblowers and focus on results rather than on process.”

Yeah, that isn’t going to happen. The first one’s to get it in the back of the head is anyone who blows the whistle on the spoiled brats who spend their days raping the system for every dollar they can.

“We must ensure that no one, and no member state, shoulders a disproportionate share of the burden, and that’s militarily or financially,” he said.

Uh Oh! That sounds like a warning shot right across the bank accounts of the UN Bureaucrats! That is the diplomatic equivalent of a baseball bat to the back of the head. It took a while for NATO to understand that when President Trump says something involving money, he actually means it. His remarks about NATO members not meeting their obligations, and his remarks about the United States rethinking it’s position with NATO shocked everyone. Now he’s turning to that other total waste of money, The United Nations.

One of the big fears of the Globalist Elites is how to deal with President Trump’s patriotism and desires to Make America Great Again, and his desire to stick it to the very same Globalist Elites who see the United States as nothing more then a giant piggy bank full of cash that they should control. According to the Globalists primary Newspaper, the Wall Street Journal, (Which might be paywalled):

President Donald Trump’s first address to the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday will lay out a foreign policy rooted in his view of nationalism and sovereignty and anchored by “America First” principles, according to a senior White House official.

Mr. Trump will call for more burden sharing and cooperation among countries on issues including the fight on terrorism, North Korea’s nuclear and military threat, and Iran’s adherence to a multinational nuclear deal.

The United Nations has been, basically, a total and complete failure with regards to North Korea and Iran. Both countries should have been ostracized, instead they have been lashed repeatedly with the patented United Nations wet noodle.

Next, President Trump is going to take a few shots at the Globalists agenda of One World Government under the United Nations and run by the Eurotrash Globalist elites.

The address will combine the nationalistic theme of his campaign with an appeal to the nationalism of other countries as a new basis for international cooperation, the senior official said.

It will be a foreign policy that is driven by outcomes, not by ideologies,” the official said. “What the president is doing is explaining how the principle of America First is not only consistent with the goal of international cooperation, but a rational basis for every country to engage in cooperation.”

Well, it looks like Eastern Europe is going to be rather happy with President Trump’s remarks on National Sovereignty.

Western Europe? Not so much.

As I’m writing this post, President Trump is giving his speech to the UN and as expected, he isn’t pulling his punches. He’s made remarks that will set the Beltway Uniparty’s teeth on edge, especially the GOP(e) wing, basically taking the United States out of the Nation Building business. I saw him demand that Iran return the American’s they’ve kidnapped…Imprisoned on fake charges, and other things.

I don’t have it turned on in my office, and I’ll wait until either later today or tomorrow to read his remarks. I do think he’s going to piss off a lot of people though, and frankly, with regards to the United Nations, that is a very good thing.

One Response to Trump verses the United Nations

Let’s hope so. And if we really win the lottery, the UN will be so ticked they’ll relocate to some other country (I don’t care where). Then Trump JR can work on making Turtle Bay another fantastic Trump property,
