Good day all. Since President Trump won the election, the left wing has been engaging in a gang whine. Recently, we have had a few professional sports players disrespecting the country by kneeling when the National Anthem was being played.
Recently, President Trump let these spoiled brats have it with both barrels, and in response, the spoiled brats ramped up their contempt for the United States. There has been one very notable exception to all this. Alejandro Villanueva, in defiance of his coach and other team mates, went out on the field yesterday and stood for the national anthem. Here are the details from Fox News:
For Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, being “respectful of our football team” trumped the right of Steelers offensive tackle Alejandro Villanueva to show respect for the national anthem.
Mr. Villanueva has a very good reason for standing when the national anthem is being played. He has served our country so morons like Tomlin can demonstrate just how much of a moron he and the others actually are.
A former Army Ranger, Villanueva was the only Steeler to break from the team’s orders and come out of the tunnel Sunday in Chicago to stand for “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Unfortunately for the Steelers, they didn’t do to well. Tomlin, being the head fool, decided to double down on his stupidity.
Speaking after his team’s 23-17 loss to the Bears, Tomlin appeared to take a swipe at the Bronze Star recipient’s decision.
“Like I said, I was looking for 100 percent participation, we were gonna be respectful of our football team,” Tomlin said.
Well guess what? You didn’t get it because we have an actual hero, a man who put his life on the line for likes of you. A man who defended your right to make a complete ass of yourself. Mr. Villanueva has demonstrated that he “Gets it” and that you and the other spoiled brats don’t.
Villanueva has previously spoken out about former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s decision to sit and kneel during the national anthem, saying his actions may “send the wrong message.”
“I don’t know if the most effective way is to sit down during the national anthem with a country that’s providing you freedom, providing you $16 million a year…when there are black minorities that are dying in Iraq and Afghanistan for less than $20,000 a year,” Villanueva told ESPN in 2016.
Kaepernick has demonstrated what happens when you play football without a helmet. When he was cut, this worthless idiot started the usual Proglodyte screech of “RACISM!!” The only problem was, he sucks as a quarterback, and that’s why they invited him to try out for a new career asking if you want fries with your order.
There has been some fallout with regards to these jerks being the total losers they are. The NFL’s ratings and attendance is down. There have been calls to boycott the NFL and other Pro Sports where the over-payed twits have shown their contempt for the country that gave them everything they have.
Personally, I’m not calling for a dedicated boycott. These twerps have every right to be complete dicks of they want. They can thank people like Alejandro Villanueva for defending their right to speak and act like spoiled children. They can also thank an ancestor of mine who served in the Union Army during the Civil War.
As for me, I don’t pay any attention to professional sports. I gather a lot of other people are tuning them out as well. Pretty soon, the owners are going to see their revenues plummet and then they will take action. It won’t be just the owners either, I suspect a lot of endorsement contracts might soon start drying up. That’s when these overpaid Prima donnas will learn that the bottom line trumps their “Solidarity.” The sooner the better as far as I’m concerned.
