New TV series based on Eric Holder?

Good day all. A report has just come out from Hollyweird that someone wants to make a new drama series based on former corrupt attorney general, Eric Holder.

Apparently, this Baldrick-like “Cunning plan” is being developed by Jerry Bruckheimer, and is going to be based on the life and career of Erick Holder. Here are the details from Deadline Hollywood:

Eric Holder is going to Hollywood. The former U.S. Attorney General has teamed with top producer Jerry Bruckheimer for Main Justice, a legal drama series project, which has been set up at CBS.

Written by Sascha Penn (Survivor’s Remorse) and executive produced by Holder and Bruckheimer, Main Justice was inspired by Holder’s life and work. Centered around the U.S. Attorney General, the show takes us into the tumultuous world of the 5th floor of the Department of Justice where he takes on the biggest legal and investigative cases in the country all while being the youngest person to ever hold such an esteemed position.

There are so many other former AG’s they could base this show on, but they chose to use Eric Holder as the basis of their central character? A man considered to be one of the most corrupt AG’s in American History? The ONLY Attorney General ever to be held in Contempt of Congress?

Holder was the 82nd Attorney General of the United States. Appointed by President Barack Obama, Holder served for six years, from 2009 to 2015 as the first African American to hold the position. He has since returned to private practice.

He should have been prosecuted and been formally retired to a maximum security prison. His actions in letting guns sail across the border into Mexico directly led to the murder of a United States Federal Agent. If you want to go back a ways, you will find how Eric Holder facilitated one of the worst Presidential Pardons in recent history, that of Marc Rich. The list of questionable activities by Holder is lengthy, and you can Goolag or Bing his name to find them.

I have no idea when this series will air, however, I can assure you I will be doing something else when it’s on. Anything else actually. Perhaps I might try pushing bamboo shoots under my fingernails. Maybe a home do it yourself vasectomy? Anything would be better than this.
