SUV driven deliberately into crowd

Good day all. There was an incident in Australia about a day ago. (December 21) Someone in an SUV drove deliberately into a crowd of people in Melbourne, Australia.

The details of the incident are still under investigation. However a few interesting things are known. Here is what we do know from Fox News:

A driver of Afghan descent accused of plowing a white SUV into a crowd of pedestrians Thursday in Melbourne, Australia, injuring at least 14 people in a “deliberate act” has a history of drug use and mental illness and was known to police “on historical assault matters,” police said.

Two men, including the 32-year-old driver, were taken into custody, police said. The Afghan driver was an Australian citizen. Authorities said there was no evidence or intelligence to indicate that the incident was terror related, but they believe the driver carried out the act deliberately.

“We don’t at this time have any evidence or any intelligence to indicate there’s a connection with terrorism,” said Victoria state police acting commissioner Shane Patton.

Oh I think we can guess the reason for the driver to crash into people, even if the police are hesitant to do so.

As for the second person arrested?

The second man arrested at the scene was filming the attack. He had three knives in his bag — although police believe he is not connected to the attack, Sky News reported.

Interestingly, there is no description of the second person arrested. I suspect we will find out that he was just some bystander, on his way to the local Mosque and the knives were only for his class in decapitation or something. Perfectly harmless.

Fortunately, no one was killed in this incident, but the political correctness infecting most of the world is going to prevent an honest investigation. Personally, I think it was yet another case of “Sudden Jihadi Syndrome.”
