Obama, Kerry and Hezbollah

Good day all. In a major investigative piece, covered by none of the Mostly Stupid Media, Politico’s Josh Meyer tells the story of how the Obama Regime gave a free path to the Iranian backed terrorist organization, Hezbollah, to smuggle drugs and anything else that struck their fancy into the United States.

In Obama’s final term, he was desperate to get an agreement of any sort out of Iran. As we’ve since learned, Obama and his Secretary of State, John “Ketchup Boy” Kerry basically gave the Iranians whatever they wanted and got nothing in return. President Trump was left with an unholy mess to clean up. Now we’re finding out just how bad a deal this was for America. Here are some of the details from Politico:

In its determination to secure a nuclear deal with Iran, the Obama administration derailed an ambitious law enforcement campaign targeting drug trafficking by the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah, even as it was funneling cocaine into the United States, according to a POLITICO investigation.

The campaign, dubbed Project Cassandra, was launched in 2008 after the Drug Enforcement Administration amassed evidence that Hezbollah had transformed itself from a Middle East-focused military and political organization into an international crime syndicate that some investigators believed was collecting $1 billion a year from drug and weapons trafficking, money laundering and other criminal activities.

Over the next eight years, agents working out of a top-secret DEA facility in Chantilly, Virginia, used wiretaps, undercover operations and informants to map Hezbollah’s illicit networks, with the help of 30 U.S. and foreign security agencies.

So this was a program that was started under G.W. Bush, and continued under the radar throughout the Obama Regime. They spent years tracking the Hezbollah smuggling network and finding out who was running it. They must have been close to the point of rounding them up, (Or siccing a SEAL team on them), so what happened? In a nutshell, Obama happened.

But as Project Cassandra reached higher into the hierarchy of the conspiracy, Obama administration officials threw an increasingly insurmountable series of roadblocks in its way, according to interviews with dozens of participants who in many cases spoke for the first time about events shrouded in secrecy, and a review of government documents and court records. When Project Cassandra leaders sought approval for some significant investigations, prosecutions, arrests and financial sanctions, officials at the Justice and Treasury departments delayed, hindered or rejected their requests.

The Justice Department declined requests by Project Cassandra and other authorities to file criminal charges against major players such as Hezbollah’s high-profile envoy to Iran, a Lebanese bank that allegedly laundered billions in alleged drug profits, and a central player in a U.S.-based cell of the Iranian paramilitary Quds force. And the State Department rejected requests to lure high-value targets to countries where they could be arrested.

David Asher Veteran U.S. illicit finance expert sent from Pentagon to Project Cassandra to attack the alleged Hezbollah criminal enterprise.

This was a policy decision, it was a systematic decision,” said David Asher , who helped establish and oversee Project Cassandra as a Defense Department illicit finance analyst. “They serially ripped apart this entire effort that was very well supported and resourced, and it was done from the top down.

Why would the Obama Regime destroy an investigation that would have closed down a major drug pipeline, smuggling in literally tons of Cocaine? The answer is both simple and enraging.

Obama had entered office in 2009 promising to improve relations with Iran as part of a broader rapprochement with the Muslim world. On the campaign trail, he had asserted repeatedly that the Bush administration’s policy of pressuring Iran to stop its illicit nuclear program wasn’t working, and that he would reach out to Tehran to reduce tensions.

The man who would become Obama’s top counterterrorism adviser and then CIA director, John Brennan, went further. He recommended in a policy paper that “the next president has the opportunity to set a new course for relations between the two countries” through not only a direct dialogue, but “greater assimilation of Hezbollah into Lebanon’s political system.”

Greater assimilation? They must have used the Al Capone model on how to assimilate criminal organizations into the main stream political system. (Chicago is still dealing with that mess nearly a century later)

By May 2010, Brennan, then assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism, confirmed in a speech that the administration was looking for ways to build up “moderate elements” within Hezbollah.

Moderate? Hezbollah? They rival the old Nazi’s in their ideas and goals, starting with the extermination of Israel and the Jews.

In practice, the administration’s willingness to envision a new role for Hezbollah in the Middle East, combined with its desire for a negotiated settlement to Iran’s nuclear program, translated into a reluctance to move aggressively against the top Hezbollah operatives, according to Project Cassandra members and others.

And just what did Obama do to aid and abet this criminal organization? They put the kibosh on going after the leadership.

Project Cassandra members say administration officials also blocked or undermined their efforts to go after other top Hezbollah operatives including one nicknamed the ‘Ghost,” allowing them to remain active despite being under sealed U.S. indictment for years. People familiar with his case say the Ghost has been one of the world’s biggest cocaine traffickers, including to the U.S., as well as a major supplier of conventional and chemical weapons for use by Syrian President Bashar Assad against his people.

And when Project Cassandra agents and other investigators sought repeatedly to investigate and prosecute Abdallah Safieddine, Hezbollah’s longtime envoy to Iran, whom they considered the linchpin of Hezbollah’s criminal network, the Justice Department refused, according to four former officials with direct knowledge of the cases.

The article is very extensive and detailed with documentation, citations and on the record remarks from those who spent years building a case against Hezbollah. The men and women who worked to bring these criminals and terrorists to justice firmly believe that all their work was flushed down the toilet on order of Barack Obama and Valarie Jarrett.

Early in the Obama Regime, Eric Holder, with the tacit agreement of the White House, started Operation Fast & Furious. This was the plan to allow guns to “Walk” into Mexico. The reason stated for this was to track the weapons and arrest criminals who received them. It came out later on that the plan was nothing more then a way to suppress the 2nd Amendment without bothering to go through the process of amending the constitution.

That disaster has cost the lives of hundreds of Mexican men, women and children, along with an American federal agent and probably a number of American citizens. What this story is telling us is that Obama and Kerry were willing to literally allow an enemy of the United States to do whatever it wanted to, all so they could get a piece of paper signed to make Obama look good.

Lewis Amselem, also known as “The Diplomad”, is a retired Foreign Service Officer. Unlike many at the State Department, Mr. Amselem actually thinks and puts America first. When he read this story on Politico, he wrote a blog post titled “Traitor.” He read this story and was shocked at just how far Obama and Kerry were willing to go to get that agreement with Iran. He wrote:

Obama and Kerry, it seems, wanted absolutely nothing to get in the way of their “historic” deal, which I long ago labeled as fake. Not even I, an absolute opponent and detestor of the Obama Misadministration, could have thought that those scoundrels would go so far in their bid to undermine America and the West.

I am beyond outraged; this might be even worse than “Fast and Furious.”

If DOJ doesn’t get on this, there is no hope for any of us in defeating the Deep State.

Lock ‘im up!

The Diplomad retired during the Felonia von Pantsuit crime wave, sickened at what he was seeing. He is correct that this needs to be looked into by the Department of Justice. If the Politico story is accurate, and with the level of documentation, I don’t see how it could be anything else, then Barack Obama, John Kerry and everyone involved in the decisions to allow Hezbollah free reign, committed treason. Perhaps not in the Constitutional sense, (Treason is the only crime mentioned in the Constitution and is intentionally difficult to prove), but definitely in the classical definition of the word.

President Trump must order that wimp Sessions to start an investigation, and if laws were broken, then indictments of whoever is responsible must occur. It’s been not quite a year since Donald Trump took office, and every day, new stories come out on just how corrupt Obama was. We dodged a major bullet when Donald Trump won the election and Felonia von Pantsuit was rendered meaningless. If she had won, well, the odds are the United States would be well on it’s way to a full collapse. Read the story on Politico. It is lengthy and detailed and anyone with any sense will be furious at what Obama and Kerry did to this country.
