Protests and riots if President Trump fires Mueller. Good day all. Did you know that the Obama Regime had an ethics czar? I didn’t. Considering everything that’s come out since President Trump took office, I would be surprised if anyone in the Obama regime knew how to spell ethics, let alone had any.
However, Obama did have someone allegedly overseeing the ethics of the Obama regime. Now he’s firing away on Twitter, demanding that people “Take to the streets!!” if President Trump fires Robert Mueller. Here are the details from The Daily Caller:
The federal government’s former ethics czar says he is “stocking up” on “gear” in order to “take the streets” in the event that President Trump removes Robert Mueller as special counsel.
Oh this should be good! I love it when Moonbats screech that they’re “Stocking up on gear”. It usually means getting their Antifa masks and black hoodies cleaned and pressed, and making sure their Starbucks gift cards are fully charged.
“I’m concerned the assault on the rule of law is coming over the holidays when we’re distracted. It‘ll be a defining moment for the Republic,” Walter Shaub wrote on Twitter on Friday.
Considering who appointed him, and his complete disregard for the Rule of Law and the Constitution, Shaub is not helping his case.
Shaub, an Obama appointee who quit his position earlier this year in protest against Trump, circulated a advertisement for an event sponsored by MoveOn.org, the left-wing activist group.
Did he quit just before he was fired? I have some pointed questions I would like to ask him about his work for President “Pen and Phone.”
The event is a “rapid response protest” that will form on short notice if Trump removes Mueller from office.
“Please note that the listed date is a placeholder and will be updated to be within 24 hours of the firing, should it occur,” reads MoveOn’s notice.
How nice of him to provide the rest of us 24 hours notice. That should be plenty of time to make sure our firearms are “Well Regulated” should Shaub and the rest of the Barking Moonbats go on their usual style of protests. Riots, rampages, destruction of property and Assault & Battery.
The group notified participants that they must “agree to engage in nonviolent, peaceful action, to act lawfully, and to strive to de-escalate any potential confrontations with those who may disagree with our values.”
I think someone has come to understand that the good citizens of the United States have had enough of the antics of Moonbats like Shaub, and are now showing up armed. They won’t start anything, but of Shuab’s buddies proceed in their usual manner, they will end it, very permanently. Basically, Shaub has decided that beating on a Trump supporter is a good way of getting his head blown off.
Despite Shaub’s dramatic plea, there is no indication that Trump plans to fire Mueller, who took over as special counsel in May.
Some Democratic lawmakers, including California Rep. Jackie Speier, said that there have been “rumors” that Trump plans to shut down Mueller’s probe.
“The rumor on the Hill when I left yesterday was that the president was going to make a significant speech at the end of next week. And on Dec. 22, when we are out of D.C., he was going to fire Robert Mueller,” Speier said in an interview on Friday, though she did not identify her sources.
I’m sure Speier has the exact same sources as her favorite network, CNN
Trump himself cannot fire Mueller. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein would have to make the decision.
And as we have seen, Rosenstein has no intention of firing his bestest buddy, Robert Mueller.
Rosenstein is who appointed Mueller to office in May after Trump fired James Comey as FBI director. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is out of the loop because he recused himself from the Russia investigation.
Jeff Sessions is a wimp. He should have told President Trump that this was an issue. Of course, if he had, Sessions would still be in the Senate and we would have someone with some actual guts running the Department of Justice.
Shaub, who resigned as director of the Office of Government Ethics in July, was mocked by conservatives on Twitter for his dramatic decision to stock up on “gear” in anticipation of Mueller’s firing. He clarified that the event would be a non-violent protest.
Well, he is a very inviting target. Who could resist taking a (Non-violent), shot at him? As for Shaub’s response on Twitter?
This tweet apparently triggered the tiki torch crowd. My theory is people with violent tendencies will hear violence in the language of peaceful protest. But you literally have to agree to the policy of nonviolence and complying with all law enforcement orders to sign up, so…
Well, Mr. Ethics showed his true colors, so to speak. Anyone who disagrees with him is a white supremacist. As for the “Promise of nonviolence?” Yeah, that’s about as meaningful as anything else a Progressive promises. Since President Trump looked to become the Republican nominee and then won the election, the Progressives have been the ones to resort to violence.
The only instance of of possible violence initiated by the other side was in Charlottesville and that guy with his car. Interestingly, I haven’t heard anything about how his case is proceeding. I wonder if it collapsed? I’m sure someone will comment on it. As for Mr. Ethics Czar Shaub calls for “Peaceful (HAH!) Protests?
I do hope that they are peaceful protests. It would be a first. Personally, all humor aside, if President Trump does shut down Mueller, I expect the Progressive Left to go on another of their usual rampages. Interestingly, they won’t “Rampage” in places where people have the means of defending themselves from the “Peaceful Protestors” peacefully trying to kill anyone who disagrees with them. Funny that, isn’t it?
