Good day all. Among all the other news last week was President Trump’s first Fake News awards ceremony. These awards were given to various people and news agencies for not just getting it wrong, but doubling down on incorrect news stories.
It’s been determined that President Trump has received the worst news coverage of any president in history, with some 90 percent of the stories being negative toward him, his family and his administration. In far to many cases, the “News” that was put out turned out to be not just wrong, but a flat out lie. Now President Trump has decided to further humiliate these scions of the media. Here are some of the details, along with a list of whiners winners from Fox News:
President Trump revealed the winners of his self-proclaimed ‘Fake News’ awards Wednesday night on Twitter — with The New York Times topping the list.
CNN also came out as a “winner,” with the left-leaning news network making the list four times.
Left leaning? If they were any further to the left, they would rotate around and become right.
The list, published on GOP.com, noted that “studies have shown that over 90 percent of the media’s coverage of President Trump is negative.” It went on to call 2017 “a year of unrelenting bias, unfair news coverage and even downright fake news.”
The problems with the Mostly Stupid Media can laid at the feet of three things. The publishing of the Pentagon Papers by the Washington Compost, Woodward and Bernstein’s breaking of the Watergate scandal and the rise of “Journalism” schools. Granted, the Watergate story needed to be told, however, after those two journalists brought down Nixon, every Tom, Dick and Harriet who graduated from one of these journalism schools saw it as their duty to destroy any Republican president.
Coming in first place was The New York Times’ Paul Krugman for his prediction that the stock markets would never recover from Trump’s election. In a bit of irony, the Dow Jones industrial average closed above 26,000 for the first time on Wednesday.
I wrote about just how stupid Kruggles is last week. Kruggles used to be an actual economist. He’s long since given that up to become a flaming moonbat with the Average Progressive’s understanding of economic theory. In other words, he thinks Communism is a good thing.
The Times was followed by ABC News’ Brian Ross for his botched report that Trump advised former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn to make contact with Russian officials during the 2016 campaign.
Brian Ross let his outright hatred of Donald Trump get the better of him. He put out a story without actually doing any fact checking that directly led to a massive drop in the Stock market and the loss to investors of hundreds of billions of dollars. Of course, being a Fake News Network, ABC didn’t fire Ross, they just demoted him to what amounts to janitorial work. Below is the list of winners for this year’s “Fraudy.”

- CNN falsely reporting the Trump campaign had early access to hacked documents from WikiLeaks
- TIME report that Trump removed a bust of Martin Luther King, Jr. from the Oval Office
- The Washington Post’s Dave Weigel tweeting that Trump’s December rally in Pensacola, Fla., wasn’t packed with supporters
- CNN’s video suggesting Trump overfed fish during a visit with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe
- CNN’s retracted report claiming Anthony Scaramucci-Russia ties
- Newsweek report that Polish First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda did not shake Trump’s hand
- CNN report that former FBI Director James Comey would dispute President Trump’s claim he was told he was not under investigation
- The New York Times report that the Trump administration had hidden a climate-change study
- In Trump’s words, “‘RUSSIA COLLUSION!’ Russian collusion is perhaps the greatest hoax perpetrated on the American people. THERE IS NO COLLUSION!”
All these stories have one thing in common, They were designed not to report facts and inform the public, but to do everything in the Progressive Media’s power to destroy Donald Trump, his Presidency and put the Progressive Democrats back into power. The damage they’ve done to their own credibility is near total.
President Trump’s supporters flat out don’t believe anything the MSM’ says any longer, and the Progressives, Never Trumpers along with the Beltway Uniparty types are beginning to see that their long time control of information has been lost. The American People now have multiple sources of information and when the MSM Propagandists let fly with yet another accusation, the people look at it and then go elsewhere to verify what was said.
That hard won credibility, which took over a century to build, has been flushed down the crapper in a few short years. Now the Main Stream Media, such as the New York Slimes, the Washington Compost and others are losing money hand over fist. The general public just doesn’t believe what they say any longer and soon, many of these old time newspapers will fold and go out of business. At least they will have their “Fraudy’s” to remind them of their “Glory days.”
