Good day all. For the last few months, we’ve seen the Progressive Democrats go absolutely nuts over the illegal Executive Order issued by Barack Obama, and repealed by President Trump. The order, known as DACA, is short for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
Basically, it kept the Immigration service from booting juvenile illegal aliens out of the country. This was never the law of the land, it was literally a decree by President Barack “Pen and Phone” Obama. He issued what is known as an Executive Order and these illegals were allowed to stay.
Once President Trump took office, he demonstrated what he thought of these, and many other illegal orders issued by King Putt. He promptly began undoing them, and started throwing things back and Congress to fix. This set off the usual suspects in the Progressive Democrat party and they began making demands and threats. President Trump basically said, “Pass a bill I can sign to fix this, meanwhile, we’re going to start deporting these people.”
The Progressive Democrats promptly began using these illegals to raise campaign donations. It never crossed their empty heads to actually sit down and work out a deal. Now the “Dreamers” as these now adult illegal aliens are known, are making threats to self deport. Here are some of the details from The Daily Wire:
A group of DREAMers, young illegal immigrants fighting to stay in the country following the Trump Administration’s refusal to extend the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) executive order, say they’ll leave the country if a deal isn’t reached . . . err . . . to keep them in the country.
Speaking to CNN, one of these DREAMers, Alex Velez, said, “I will leave. I will leave America as soon as possible,” claiming that she would prefer to depart the country on her own terms than wait for the United States to collect and deport her.
In think Ms. Velez isn’t entirely clear on the concept of generating support for her position.
The theory appears to be that, if DREAMers suddenly disappear, Americans will notice their absence. Velez and her sister claim they own businesses, pay tuition, and hold jobs, and that America has a duty to keep them here in order to maintain their contributions.
Let’s take this apart shall we? These two claim they own a business. Now I’m assuming that both of the Velez women are in the United States illegally. I may be incorrect. The sister might be here lawfully and I am fully prepared to be corrected. However, I will operate under the assumption that these two are both criminals.
The claim that they own a business is the first problem. You have to file reports and pay taxes. This requires identification, tax I.D. numbers and other things. If you are illegally in this country, you can’t acquire these records in a lawful manner. This means one of two things. They stole someone’s identity or they are ignoring all the laws and regulations, and probably aren’t paying much, if anything, in taxes.
As for paying tuition? We’ve seen how that actually works. American citizens and lawful resident aliens are required to pay tuition. The illegals are fawned over by schools who essentially forge documents to give these criminals special treatment. As to the jobs they allegedly hold? There is this government system called “E-Verify.”
An employer who wants to lawfully hire someone puts their name and other information into the system. It comes back with a report that says “Yep! They’re legal, Hire them.” If that doesn’t come back, then there are other steps to validate their legal status. Any business that knowingly hires an illegal alien is subject to severe penalties.
The problem is, for the Velez sisters, striking against the United States for refusing to accommodate them isn’t a plan with a likely payoff.
The pair are undocumented immigrants brought over by their parents from Venezuela, and the situation in their home country is less than ideal.
Now there are a few interesting things about all these criminals dreamers. They’re all over the age of 18, some of them way over. (Like in their 20’s and 30’s) They’ve had years to talk to a lawyer about getting themselves legal, but couldn’t be bothered. As to their threats to leave the country? All I have to say regarding that is:
