Wait, what? The Federal Government had a budget surplus in January? How did that happen? Good day all. When President Trump signed the new tax bill into law, the usual suspects started screaming “We can’t afford it!”

These suspects are all members of the Beltway Uniparty, a group of scum who think that they are the chosen ones and know what’s best for the serfs, peons and wage slaves in “Flyover Country,” are also the ones who can’t be bothered to pass a balanced budget and never met a tax hike they didn’t like. The members are both Democrats and Establishment Republicans. However, the one thing they aren’t good at is mathematics. Since these idiots can’t count, they were surprised that more money came in then they could spend. Here are the details from CNS News:
The federal government this January ran a surplus while collecting record total tax revenues for that month of the year, according to the Monthly Treasury Statement released today. January was the first month under the new tax law that President Donald Trump signed in December.
During January, the Treasury collected approximately $361,038,000,000 in total tax revenues and spent a total of approximately $311,802,000,000 to run a surplus of approximately $49,236,000,000.
And the basic question by the Uniparty is, “How the heck did this happen? We have to do something about this!”
Despite the monthly surplus of $49,236,000,000, the federal government is still running a deficit of approximately $175,718,000,000 for fiscal year 2018. That is because the government entered the month with a deficit of approximately $224,955,000,000.
And the sighs of relief from the Swamp dwellers could be heard far and wide. The story has a lot of numbers that frankly, I don’t care about. What is being missed by pretty much everyone is the rise in tax receipts. By that I mean, people now paying taxes instead of raiding the treasury. We already have a number of major corporations preparing to bring hundreds of billions of dollars currently off shore back into the United States. Taxes will be paid on that money, and those business plan on investing it in manufacturing plants and business expansion.

This is not what the Uniparty wanted. They wanted more deficits and they wanted any tax benefits to go to their donors, not to the people who actually need relief, those of us in the middle class. Recently, the beltway bandits pushed through a spending package that would make any Keynesian cry with joy. President Trump signed it, probably so he could clear the decks for other fights.

The Establishment Republicans, who are no different from the Progressive Democrats, still haven’t figured out what is going on out here in flyover country. I suspect a lot of them are going to find out in the primaries later this year. Until then, just bide your time and enjoy the fruits of your labors. That alone will piss off your average Liberal Progressive.
