Good day all. Hurricane Florence has come ashore. There have been huge amounts of rain, and winds so strong that reporters were being blown all over the place on camera.
Or were they? It seems that once again, a “reporter” was caught embellishing the facts slightly. In this case, it was the Weather Channel. Here are the musing details from Fox News:
As Hurricane Storm Florence lashed through the Carolinas with howling winds and heavy rain, one reporter was captured attempting to keep it together as winds appeared to lash at him, but was mocked when two people were seen walking behind him with little difficulty.
The viral video, which has more than 13.6 million views, showed Weather Channel correspondent Mike Seidel in Wilmington, North Carolina, trying to fight the heavy wind as he reported live from the storm on Friday.
“This is about as nasty as it’s been,” Seidel said.
A few moments later, the camera panned away and two people were seen walking behind Seidel, appearing to have no problem with the wind.

This is just one of many stories where a so called “Journalist” was caught out faking a story. Another famous one was a reporter, after another storm, sitting in a boat, apparently in deep water. Unbeknownst to her, a couple of people walked past her and showed the water was barely ankle deep.
When will these morons learn that people want straightforward facts, not made up stories and falsified situations? The media complains that President Trump is mean to them, and that he is the reason respect for the 5th Column 4th Estate is at an all time low. Of course, the Weather Channel tried to “Explain” that people shouldn’t believe their lying eyes.
“It’s important to note that the two individuals in the background are walking on concrete, and Mike Seidel is trying to maintain his footing on wet grass, after reporting on-air until 1:00 a.m. ET this morning and is undoubtedly exhausted,” the channel said in a statement.
Nice try, but no one is buying that load of manure.
