Good day all. The fallout from Jessie Smollett’s hoax continues and the list of people being directly affected by this little scumbag’s antics continues to grow. Now word has come down that his show, Empire, is being canceled.
Smeghead Smollett pulled his fake hate crime stunt when he thought his character was going to be cut from the series. He wanted to appear to be a victim and thought the publicity would help him. Instead, he got himself arrested. At that point, he got himself a “Fixer” who managed to get the charges dropped. This has led to his first bit of collateral damage. The State’s Attorney, Kim Foxx, was the one who dropped the charges and is now facing potential criminal charges herself. Now news has come out that Fox has decided to cancel Empire. Jussie Smollett’s prima-donna attitude has sealed the fate of his “Empire” colleagues. Fox announced that the once popular show is coming to an end after season six following the alleged hate attack Smollett is believed to have staged on himself last January. Smollett was later arrested for the crime, though all 16 counts against him were dropped in late March.
Nice going there dumbass. Now I will admit that I have never watched the show and don’t even know what the story is about. I also don’t care. However, up until this moron pulled his stunt, I gather the series was doing rather well. Now, doofus has just put hundreds of people on the unemployment line. “Empire” has been suffering from low ratings since Smollett’s case became the target of mainstream media.
It didn’t help that the series has a cast and crew of moonbats who backed Smollett when they should have tossed him over the side. When it came out that Smollett was a flat out liar, rather then pull back, these idiots doubled down. Now the former fans have spoken and the plug is being pulled.
It seems everyone has just about had enough of Smollett. Despite pleas from his fellow cast members and a letter penned by the show’s stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard asking that he be allowed to stay on, the actor was written out of the final two episodes of the show’s fifth season. Fox also announced that executives have “no plans” to bring Smollett back for season six, which will mark the show’s official closing period.
It looks like Smollett’s career is pretty much over now as well. I have no idea what kind of talent the little twerp has, but now he’s made himself toxic. No one is going to risk a series or film on this numbskull. He’s not Mel Gibson for instance. Gibson has a problem with his mouth when he drinks and it’s cost him big time. However, he’s also a great movie maker and he took responsibility for his personal stupidity. Smollett continues to say he was a “Victim” when all the evidence shows he was the perpetrator.
This marks the second time that Smollett has potentially lost work over his ongoing legal scandal. Recently, the actor was let go from the Broadway play Take Me Out. Smollett was previously in rehearsals to portray the story’s main character of a gay baseball player who comes out and suffers homophobic attacks from his teammates. A spokesperson for the play emerged to say that casting had “shifted” once Smollett became the subject of a legal investigation.
Well, I hope this idiot has put his money into solid investments. It looks like his “Acting” career is coming to an end. Of course, there is also the issue of the lawsuits against him by the City of Chicago and the federal investigation on his hoax and another instance where a threatening letter was sent to him with some sort of powder in it. Instead of doing time in an Illinois prison, the idiot could, potentially, be doing serious time in a federal prison. Serves him right if it happens.
