Good day all. Now that Adam Schifthead is trying to impeach President Trump for allegedly asking the Ukrainian President to look into Hunter Biden and the Bursima company, perhaps it’s time to look at how the Obama State Department saw this.
It appears that back in 2015, people in the State Department had some concerns regarding Hunter Biden’s “Employment” with Bursima, especially since he had zero knowledge or experience in the company’s business. However, since it was then Vice President Slow Joe Biden’s son, he needed to back off. Here are the details from Fox News:
George Kent, a career official at the State Department, told House investigators conducting the impeachment inquiry against President Trump that he raised concerns about Hunter Biden’s lucrative service on the board of a Ukrainian natural gas company — but was told that it wasn’t appropriate to discuss the matter because of the health struggles of Biden’s eldest son, Beau.
Kent said that in January or February 2015, he “became aware that Hunter Biden was on the board” of Ukrainian company Burisma Holdings while his father Joe Biden was overseeing Ukraine policy as vice president.
“I did not know that at the time,” Kent testified. “And when I was on a call with somebody on the vice president’s staff and I cannot recall who it was, just briefing on what was happening into Ukraine, I raised my concerns that I had heard that Hunter Biden was on the board of a company owned by somebody that the U.S. Government had spent money trying to get tens of millions of dollars back, and that could create the perception of a conflict of interest.”
Yep, that could be a problem. So what was Kent told to do? Take a wild guess.
After discussing those concerns with Biden’s staff, Kent testified, “The message that I recall hearing back was that the Vice President’s son Beau was dying of cancer and that there was no further bandwidth to deal with family-related issues at that time.”
Oh I think there was a lot more to it then just Beau Biden kicking the bucket, although that would be a big deal. However, having the other son on the board of a company that was as crooked as the day is long was just begging for trouble. It also raises a whole bunch of questions regarding Slow Joe the Groper about how he handled things later on.
Instead of getting the coke head off the board, he protected the company instead while they shoveled money in the Biden coffers via Hunter’s salary and bonuses. Biden is on record as having threatened the Ukraine if they didn’t stop investigating Bursima and his brat, and fire the prosecutor handling the investigation.
There has been a lot of information that the prosecutor who was fired was also very dirty, and that a lot of European governments wanted him gone as well. However, considering who else was connected to Bursima, well, I have a lot of questions regarding that whole mess, and I think they need to be investigated. It wouldn’t bother me one bit if it turned out that Joe the Groper Biden illegally used his office to protect his son Hunter. Of course, he is a Democrat and the Democrats will always protect their senior members no matter what.
