Good day all. Last week, there were a couple of special elections to replace members who resigned their seats. One was in Wisconsin, and in this case the Republican Party held on to the seat. The other was in the People’s Democratic Republic of Kalifornistan, and that was a Democratic CommuNazi seat that was flipped to the Republicans.
While the Wisconsin race really wasn’t that big a deal, the one in Kalifornistan was. That was the seat held by disgraced party girl, Katie Hill. Here are the details from Fox News:
Mike Garcia managed to flip California’s 25th District, becoming the first Republican to do that in the state since 1998. Garcia, a former Navy combat pilot, was declared the winner on Wednesday after his Democratic challenger, state assemblywoman Christy Smith, conceded the race. The congressional seat was previously held by Rep. Katie Hill, who resigned last year.
Now lest you think that Mr. Garcia is free and clear, he will be running against Smith again in November. Still, this is a pretty big deal and it might be interesting to see if more seats could be flipped in November. One person who was especially unhappy is former Representative Katie Hill. It seems she was very sad over the crushing defeat of Smith. Here are those details from Fox News:
Former California Democrat Rep. Katie Hill admitted she “cried for a few days” after Republican Mike Garcia won last week’s election to take the seat she left in 2019, following a scandal involving her relationship with an aide.
“So yeah it really hurt to have my old seat flip back to Republican-for a ton of people & also for me. In fact, it was pretty f–king devastating,” Hill wrote on Twitter. “I went offline & cried for a few days but, as always, getting ready to stand back up & keep fighting. Hope you are too.”
What’s rather interesting is that President Trump really pushed for Mr. Garcia.
Trump went out of his way to promote Garcia in recent weeks as strong on guns and immigration, and some Democrats had hoped the president’s support would be a liability in the race. Former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other high-profile Democrats all lined up behind Smith.
Well I see the political magic touch of Obama and Felonia von Pantsuit is still working. The person they backed lost big time. What is also interesting is how the major networks completely ignored Representative-elect Garcia’s victory. Returning to the first Fox News Story:
None of the three broadcast networks, ABC, CBS, and NBC, aired any coverage of the special election races during Wednesday’s morning programs. The networks skipped such coverage in the evening news shows as well, even after Garcia’s declared victory that took place in the afternoon.
CNN completely ignored both races throughout the day. Meanwhile, MSNBC once mentioned Garcia’s likely win on Wednesday morning but ignored Tiffany’s victory.
The TV networks similarly downplayed the breaking news surrounding the released list of Obama officials who requested the unmasking of former national security advisor Michael Flynn.
Well, I can’t say I’m surprised that the networks don’t want to cover Obamagate. There is a very good chance that they may be implicated as well. I wonder how they will react if the ultimate best case scenario plays out in November? Many of the current crop of CommuNazis get voted out of office and Trump carries even more states then the last time. The on air meltdowns in 2016 were beautiful to behold.
