So ends the 111th Congress

The 112^th congress is now in session and the 111^th congress, ruled by Her Royal Incompetence, Nancy Pelosi, along with her Court Jester, Harry Reid is but a bad memory.

The 111^th Congress will go down in history as the most corrupt, dictatorial and unresponsive congress in decades, possibly in history. Due to their overwhelming majorities in both the House and Senate, The Democrat party could do pretty much whatever it wanted.

In the House, this was best demonstrated by Speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi’s complete disdain for anyone with a differing opinion from her.  Their list of “Accomplishments” is short and more to the point went completely against the wishes of the American people. By far the biggest one was Obamacare.

This is nothing less then the beginning of the nationalization of the healthcare industry, fully one sixth of the economy. The overwhelming majority of Americans were dead set against this. Pelosi and Reid didn’t care. They decided they were going to do this and jammed it through. The best line was “We have to pass the bill in order to find out what is in it.” spoken by Pelosi. That load of horse manure alone was responsible for the loss of the House of Representatives for the Democrats last November. However, it wasn’t the only thing. There was the virtual nationalization of the auto industry ((GM Collapses Into Government’s Arms)), that cost the taxpayers $60 billion dollars. Then there were the Wall Street bailouts. Granted those started under Bush, but they accelerated under Obama and the Congress.

Then there was the “Stimulus Package”. ((American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009))

This pile of drek was supposed to generate millions of “Shovel Ready Jobs” ((What Happened to Those Shovel-Ready Jobs?)) and prevent the unemployment rate from going over 8%. Yeah that worked REAL good. As of this post, the unemployment has been hovering around 10% for over a year. The only thing that the Trillion dollar bailouts accomplished was paying off all the democrat union cronies….And buy a lot of signs that were put up telling us what a wonderful deal the Stimulus really was. Back in 2009, when this group of clowns was sworn in and seated, Nancy Pelosi announced that this would be “The most ethical congress ever!” ((Nancy Pelosi, A laugh a minute)) Now that you have stopped laughing and have cleaned off your keyboard and monitor, lets run through a short list of the most ethical members of the House of Representatives Ever!

First, there is Charles Rangel. (D-Tax Evasion) Good time Charlie, the former head of the House Tax Writing Committee, had a small problem with taxes. He didn’t like paying them. He is a follower of the late Leona Helmsley ((Leona Helmsley)) who’s best known quote is:

“We don’t pay taxes. Only the little people pay taxes…,”

Yep, as a member of the Democrat Political class, Good Time Charlie took that quote to heart and ran with it…All the way to an Ethics Hearing that resulted in his conviction and censure on the House Floor. ((Charles Rangel Censured))

Charlie gets to keep his seat in the house since:

• The idiots in his district are so stupid they reelected him.
• The gutless wonders in the House of Representatives didn’t expel him.

Of course, Charlie is just one of many ”Highly Ethical” members of the 111^th congress. We also have Representative Maxine Waters (D – OneUnited Bank)

Now what is it the ever charming and gracious Rep. Waters is alleged to have done to incur the wrath of the House Ethics Committee? It seems that her husband is on the board of directors of a bank called OneUnited and that this bank was in serious trouble. Maxine, the ever loving wife, did what any good liberal politician would do. She arranged a massive bailout of hubby’s bank and saved themselves hundreds of thousands in personal losses.

Nope, nothing unethical here!

Maxine Waters had hoped her whitewashing ((That could be a bad choice of words when discussing Maxine)) before the Ethics committee would be completed before the new congress was seated. Unfortunately for Mad Maxine, it seems there was a small problem with a couple of the lawyers working on the Ethics Committee. They were booted off for reason not publicized ((Lawyers who investigated Maxine Waters’ ethics case are suspended)).

It’s thought that the two lawyers either found something so damning that Mad Maxine would be looking at serious jail time, and covered it up, or they wanted to do a Hillary ((Hillary fired for lies and unethical behavior)) and railroad her into jail and didn’t care how they did it. As of this posting, no information has come out on what actually happened. The over/under was that if Mad Maxine started screeching to the high heavens about their dismissal, they had found something that was in her favor. If she kept her mouth shut, something that is extremely difficult for her to do, then they had found something that would have hung her out to dry and had covered it up.

At first, Mad Maxine went into full screech mode, but then suddenly closed her big yap. The guessing is the lawyers did find something really bad and tried to bury it, and were caught. The rumors were that they found something leading back to Fat Bawney Fwank (D-Fire Island). From what little has made it out, this could be a bit of “You scratch my fat fairy ass and I’ll lick your but ugly face.” With any luck, Bawney will also get roped into this and be retired to a maximum security prison.

And then we have former Rep. Eric Massa ((NY 29th District)) (D-Third Rail). This loonytoon was one of the two biggest whack jobs in the House. He was finally forced to resign in disgrace, (He claimed he was resigning due to ill health) after his staffers came forward with accusations of sexual harassment ((Daily News: Disgraced ex-Rep. Eric Massa’s long trail of bizarre behavior)). Funny thing. It was his male staffers making the accusations.

The other blithering idiot, (And considering this congress, that’s a real achievement), was Alan Grayson, (D-Low Earth Orbit) ((Florida’s 8th District)) This bozo was a classic Barking Moonbat of the first rank. He was a hardcore left wing kook who’s sanity is in serious question. This clown would say and do things that would get anyone else arrested or at least sued. His grasp of the Constitution was nonexistent, proof of which was his attempts to have anyone who said anything negative about him thrown in jail. He wasn’t to concerned with little things like Due Process, Trial by jury, the First Amendment, you know. little things that really don’t matter in the Liberal/Progressive mindest.

Fortunately for us, Representative Grayson has also retired due to ill health. The voters were sickened by him.

Grayson wasn’t alone in his utter and complete contempt for the constitution. The real prize winner was Representative Phil Hare, (D-USSR) ((Illinois17th congressional district)) who stated that he wouldn’t defend the constitution and that it was meaningless. Pity he didn’t know about that arcane web site called YouTube. He was taped saying how much he thought about his oath to defend the constitution. Oops! Comrade Phil was also recently retired due to ill health.

The list of representatives who showed their utter contempt for their constituents and the United States is to long to go into here. The good news is that over 60 of them have been shown the door and will soon be joining their constituents on the “Funemployment” line.

Not to be outdone, the U.S. Senate also managed to shower themselves with glory…NOT! Under the mismanagement of Harry Reid, arguably one of the most incompetent Majority leaders in history, the Senate managed to completely wreck the economy and virtually enslave the American people to the political elite. The major disgrace was the passing of Obamacare. There have been many other disgraces, most of which occurred during the lame duck session.

In fact, the recent lame duck session of congress was nothing less then a deliberate kick to the groin of the voters. The Democrats filibuster proof majority was decisively removed and Dingy Harry’s reelection seems to have been rather fishy. (He’s a democrat. Of COURSE it’s fishy)

After the election that repudiated the Democrats and the Obama administration, Congress came back into session, ostensibly to finish up a few things. What they did was ram through a huge number of their programs they couldn’t get through in the normal session. They repealed the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy with regards to homosexuals in the military, with little regard to the actual men, (and women), in the field. Then they tried to ram through yet another massive phoney baloney stimulus package loaded with earmarks. This failed due to the screaming of the Tea Party people and the realization from the surviving Democrats that they were going to be up for reelection in 2012.

The pièce de résistance was the Start II arms control treaty shoved through the senate ratification process. As has been the normal case, the morons didn’t bother to read the treaty through and it looks like that Obama gave away the store once again. From what I’ve heard, (Anecdotal at best), this treaty may shut down our missile defenses and allow the Russians to call anything a nuclear delivery vehicle. (This include Bubba’s pickup truck) I have not gone through this treaty, but if what I’ve heard is accurate, the next administration may have no choice but to repudiate it outright. Everything indicates it’s the typical Liberal style treaty. What the Russians have is theirs and what we have is forbidden.

One of the biggest disappointments was the election of Scott Brown (RINO-MA). He defeated Marsha Coakley ((Her actual name is Martha Coakley. Joe Biden graciously renamed her)) in a special election to fill the seat formally held by Dead Ted Kennedy. The Tea Party in Massachusetts as well as the nation came out for him big time. He was seen as the one hope to stop the ram through of Obamacare. He did vote against that, but otherwise? The phrase “Complete phoney” comes to mind. He voted for the Start treaty, the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell and has crossed over to the Democrats more then he has worked with the Republicans. I have a feeling he’s going to be the recipient of a Primary challenge come 2012 unless he straightens up and understands why he was elected.

Other disappointments include John McCain, (RINO-AZ) who was reelected. In his case he might have had a clue beaten into him, but we’ll have to wait and see. Another loser who sleazed her way back into office was Lisa Murkowski. (RINO-AK) After losing in the primary she ran a write in campaign and managed to get herself reelected. The actual Republican candidate, Joe Miller fought her to the bitter end, but the wicked Bitch of the North prevailed. She has shown what she intends to do for the next six years by voting for all the bills Tea Party is against. With any luck, the Republicans in the Senate will strip her of all her committee seats. Technically she didn’t run as a Republican, but as an Independent.

Besides the RINO’s who were reelected, there were the ones who weren’t up for reelection this year. Very few of them have what most vertebrates have, that useful physical apparatus known as a spine. People like Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn. These two idiots have backed every single loser on the Republican side for two election cycles. McConnell might be getting a clue, (Probably administered to the back of the head by a Clue by four), but Cornyn shows no indication of understanding the mood of the people in general and the conservative wing of the Republican party in particular. This is the genius who backed Governor Charlie Crist over Marco Rubio in the Florida Primary. Rubio beat Crist so hard that Crist abandoned the Republican Party to run as an independent. This after Cornyn poured piles of cash into Crist’s primary campaign and tried to get Rubio to sit it out. Senator Rubio will be sworn in as the new senator from Florida. 🙂

There are several new people coming in to the Senate who hopefully won’t be lacking a spine. Early indications are good. On the House side, the Democrats showed they still don’t understand the last election and reelected Nancy Pelosi as their minority leader. Oh yes, in doing so not only did the Democrats show their utter idiocy, they also showed what they think of minorities. One of Pelosi’s former leadership team is black. Since she forced her way back into the leadership, (Rather then retire to Alcatraz where she belongs), she knocked Rep. Jim Clyburn, D-S.C who wanted to be Minority whip under Steny Hoyer, out of the leadership. Since the dumb idiot didn’t want to enrage the Black Caucus, she and Hoyer created a fake position for him to assuage their liberal guilt. All they managed to do was show what true racists Liberals are.

So, what does the 112^th congress have in store for us? Hopefully, lots of gridlock, agency defundings, government shutdowns and hearings into the corruption of the Obama administration. The major thing that needs to be down is either repealing Obamacare or defunding it. Since the Republicans don’t control the Senate and that scumsucking vermin, Obama, will veto and bill that lands on his desk that repeals his ‘widdle baby”, it looks like not appropriating money for this thing is what will happen. No money means no way to pay for the death panels, or the 15,000 new IRS secret police needed to enforce this tyrannical POS.

Whatever happens, it is going to be an interesting two years. Frankly I would rather have a nice, boring two years where nothing happens and people can live their lives unfettered by the Political Class and the Progressive elites.
