One of the things the experts said to expect was a sudden increase in the number of people testing positive for the China Virus. However, something odd has happened that is mystifying the so called experts. The expected spike isn’t happening. Here are some of the details from Just the News:
A former official of the World Health Organization said on Tuesday evening that there has not been an increase in coronavirus cases around the world as countries and societies begin to lift restrictions.
“As you look at all the data around the world where people have come out of lockdowns, things are actually going along quite nicely on the whole, and it’s strange,” Professor Karol Sikora, an oncologist and professor at the University of Buckingham Medical School, said during an appearance on Laura Ingraham’s show. “It’s as though something has changed, and none of us can explain why.”
I think I’ll take a stab at explaining what might be happening. The experts were dead wrong. It’s looking like the Wuhan Flu started spreading throughout the world months earlier, and infected far more people then first thought. Now they have some immunity, and being locked up under house arrest was a waste of time.
When asked about increasing immunity to the virus, Sikora said, “there are almost certainly other immune mechanisms going on, including T-cells, helper cells, natural killer cells, a whole range of things that we don’t understand as well as we understand antibodies.”
We know that a large number of people who test positive never actually get sick. They appear to be naturally immune to the China Virus. Others do get sick, but the symptoms are so mild that they don’t think it’s anything more then a common cold or flu. It’s beginning to look like only a small percentage of people who get the China Virus actually require medical intervention, and an even smaller percentage of those people succumb. In other words, it looks like the whole thing was overblown.
In the United States, as states begin opening back up, we’re also not seeing any significant spikes. According to Reuters:
U.S. authorities are not yet seeing spikes in coronavirus cases in places that are reopening but it was still too early to determine such trends, health secretary Alex Azar said on Sunday. “We are seeing that in places that are opening, we’re not seeing this spike in cases,” Azar said on CNN’s “State of the Union” program. “We still see spikes in some areas that are, in fact, closed.”
This article came out a week ago, (May 17th 2020), and we’re still not seeing a significant increase. In fact, hospitals are the ones succumbing to the China Virus. Many were ordered to stop taking in patients for what state officials decided were “Elective procedures” and now they are closing down because no one is being admitted for anything. What is interesting is that spikes are being seen in areas that refuse to allow people to go about their normal business.
However, Azar said identifying and reporting new cases takes time. A critical part of reopening will be surveillance of flu-like symptoms in the population and other hospital admissions data, as well as testing of asymptomatic individuals, he said.
“It’s still early days,” Azar cautioned in an interview with CBS’ “Face the Nation.” He said data will take some time to come in from states that reopened early such as Georgia and Florida.
As of the writing of this post, there have been no significant increases. I don’t expect there will be either. One of the things the “Experts” are noticing is people talking Vitamin D or who are in the sun all the time either aren’t getting sick or are experiencing mild symptoms. Vitamin D helps the body’s immune system. People outside are getting hit by the sun and their bodies are generating higher levels of Vitamin D then they were while locked up in their cells homes. Meanwhile, San Fran Nan decided it was a good time to put down her gourmet ice cream that she keeps in her $20,000.00 refrigerator and open her cake hole.
The top Democrat in Congress, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, said it was impossible to know the trajectory of the virus, which has killed close to 90,000 Americans, without more testing.
“We have no idea the size of this challenge to our country because we have not sufficiently tested,” Pelosi said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”
Legislation passed by the House of Representatives on Friday would provide for the keys to a successful reopening: testing, tracing and treatment, she said. Republicans have called the bill dead on arrival in the Senate.
There is a reason it will be DOA in the Senate. It has almost nothing to do with the China Virus and everything to do with making the United States a Democrat party controlled failed state. Another bill, H.R. 6666 mandated testing tracing and all sorts of nice totalitarian ideas so beloved by the Deep State.
The United States has lagged far behind most other industrialized nations in coronavirus testing that public health officials deem critical to preventing further outbreaks.
First, we aren’t other countries, we are the United States of America. We are populated by people who left those other countries because they wanted to be free. Second, our population is generally far more spread out then in the land of Eurotrash. Third, we have an inherent distrust of the government. And last, but not least,
Azar put the onus on local governments to handle reopening plans, as cooped-up Americans begin to flock to bars, beaches and parks.
“These are very localized determinations. There should not be a one size fits all to reopening but reopen we must because it’s not health versus the economy. It’s health versus healthy,” he said, adding there were serious health consequences to not reopening.
And we’re seeing just how incompetent most of these local officials, including the ones in the city Anger Central is located in, actually are. Many are still pushing the goal posts further and further, and people and businesses are now starting to ignore them. This has caused some local officials to become more threatening and tyrannical which is causing people to start counting their ammo and calling their lawyers.
Asked about images being broadcast from some areas of the country showing people gathering near bars and congregating close together, Azar said that was the cost of freedom.
“I think in any individual instance you’re going to see people doing things that are irresponsible. That’s part of the freedom that we have here in America,” he said on CNN.
Pesky thing, freedom, isn’t it? People are looking what all these “Experts” have been saying, and it’s been both uniformly doom and gloom, “we’re all going to die!” and in general, wrong. First it was “We have to flatten the curve!” Well, the curve turned out to be about the same as a normal flu season. Then we had to “Make sure the hospitals weren’t overwhelmed!!” Not only were they not overwhelmed, they were sending doctors and nurses home due to lack of work. (Sadly, a number these hospitals were driving into bankruptcy by these idiotic edicts)
I suspect that in the coming months, all these pronouncements, rules, regulations and laws will either be repealed or flat out ignored. I also won’t be surprised if a large number of current office holders become former office holders. In the next year or so, as we learn just how badly wrong these “Experts” were, you’re going to see demands that laws be put into place preventing another lockdown. We shall see of course.
