DoJ Looking into “Voting Irregularities”

Good day all. News broke Monday that Attorney General William Barr has authorized a probe into the apparent election fraud that appears to have occurred November 3rd. This is a very significant announcement, especially since not a single vote has been certified as yet.

The announcement led to the resignation of the Election Crimes Branch of the Department of Justice, Richard Pilgar. According to Breitbart:

Richard Pilger, a prosecutor at the Department of Justice (DOJ) who played a role in the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) targeting of conservative groups, resigned his post Monday evening rather than investigate potential voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

Mr. Pilger, a career prosecutor in the department’s Public Integrity Section who oversaw voting-fraud-related investigations, told colleagues he would move to a nonsupervisory role working on corruption prosecutions.

Having familiarized myself with the new policy and its ramifications,” he wrote, “I must regretfully resign from my role as director of the Election Crimes Branch.” A Justice Department spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment about Mr. Pilger’s message.

There are a few interesting tidbits regarding Mr. Pilgar. It seems he was deeply involved in the Lois Lerner cover up investigation.

Pilger felt few such qualms in 2010, when he pursued the theory that conservative groups could be prosecuted for misleading the IRS about their political activities. In an email included in a subsequent Senate report, Pilger wass described as prodding then-IRS Exempt Organizations director Lois Lerner about the idea, raised by Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI):

[Pilger] wanted to know who at IRS the DOJ folks could talk to about Sen. Whitehouse [sic] idea at the hearing that DOJ could piece together false statement cases about applicants who “lied” on their 1024s–saying they weren’t planning on doing political activity, and then turning around and making large visible political expenditures. DOJ is feeling like it needs to respond, but want to talk to the right folks at IRS to see whether there are impediments from our side and what, if any damage this might do to IRS programs.

As the Wall Street Journal later noted:

Mr. Pilger was also a foot on the gas pedal during the IRS’s increased screening of conservative 501(c) groups. In 2010 he reached out to then IRS tax-exempt chief Lois Lerner about prosecuting nonprofits that engaged in political activity for making false statements on their tax returns. In an October 2010 email exchange, Ms. Lerner and Mr. Pilger discussed the transfer of data on 501(c) organizations. The Justice Department ended up with a database of 1.1 million documents, including protected taxpayer information.

So, it looks like this individual was another Obama Deep State operative. I suspect he resigned because the information coming in is so extensive that he would have had no choice but to follow up. If he had refused or tried to bury it, there is an excellent chance he would have ended up “buried,” as in under arrest.

As for the investigation, the move to begin the investigation is highly unusual. The normal state of affairs would be to wait for all the votes to be certified first. According to the Washington Times:

It is an unusual move, since Justice Department policy prohibits any action that could influence the outcome of an election until the vote is formally certified.

While U.S. Attorneys maintain their inherent authority to conduct inquiries and investigations as they deem appropriate, it will likely be prudent to commence any election-related matters as a preliminary inquiry, so as to assess whether available evidence warrants further investigative steps,” Mr. Barr wrote.

That was a nice little dodge. The fact is, the evidence that the Democrats rigged and stole the election is mounting by the hour. Yes, the Mostly Stupid Media is doing everything it can to cover up and bury the stories. You also have Twitter and Facebook flat out kicking anyone off their platforms who even links to a story regarding the rigging of the election.

One of the interesting bits about this is that initially, some 40 Republican members of Congress, one of whom was NOT named Mittens Romney, sent a letter to the Department of Justice asking them to find out what was going on. There has already been one criminal referral from this fiasco.

Last week, the Nevada Republican Party sent a criminal referral to the Justice Department claiming they have received reports of at least 3,062 instances of voter fraud in the battleground state.

We expect that number to grow substantially,” the party said in a tweet. “Thousands of individuals have been identified who appear to have violated the law by casting ballots after they moved from NV.”

I doubt that everyone they will be looking into actually double voted. Some did certainly. I suspect that it was operatives for the Democrat Party that found out the people had moved and then stole their identity. This, along with reports of people flat out having their ballots invalidated, and almost all of whom voted for Trump is another reason the DoJ needs to look into this sooner rather then later.

In one case, an area went for Biden with only two votes for Trump. The problem was that a state legislator and 5 other members of his family definitely did vote for Trump. Another was the world renowned Diplomatic Blogger, The Diplomad. He found out from the local Republican Party office that his wife’s vote had been canceled by the local Board of Elections. His post, Fraud on a Retail Scale: Electoral Manipulation Hits Home, details what happened.

Sadly, if the theft of the election by the Democrats succeeds, any further investigations will be shut down. Anyone trying to look into it will be destroyed. History will record the 2020 Presidential Election one of two ways. Either it will show that it was a massive, unsuccessful attempt to steal the election, or it will be seen as the best documented rigging of an election in the history of the United States. I’m hoping for the former myself.
