Fake President selects the perfect thug as head of the BATFE

Good day all. It’s no secret that Dementia Joe would love to abolish the 2nd Amendment, (Actually he wants the entire constitution done away with). He’s already putting forward executive orders that are flat out unconstitutional. Now he has selected as his nominee to head up the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, someone who helped kill all the Branch Davidians at Waco Texas.

The person in question is David Chipman and he has a long history of anti-Second Amendment activities. He has a long history of unconstitutional actions when it comes to the 2nd Amendment and as head of the BATFE, he will be able to get lots more people killed. Here are the details from the Washington Free Beacon:

President Joe Biden’s nominee to run the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives mocked gun owners and spread a false Waco siege conspiracy theory in controversial comments.

David Chipman, a former ATF agent and gun-control activist, was put up by Biden to run the agency on Thursday. In addition to his work for the gun-control group Giffords and longtime support for strict new gun laws, including AR-15 bans and magazine capacity restrictions, Chipman has spread a false conspiracy theory about the Branch Davidian shootout in Waco, Texas. He also mocked Americans who purchased firearms when the coronavirus pandemic began.

“Most of the new buyers who went out to the gun store and bought a gun have no training whatsoever,” Chipman told Cheddar in April 2020. “In their mind, they might be competent, they might think they’re die-hard and ready to go, but unfortunately they’re more like Tiger King. They’re putting themselves and their families in danger.”

Oh this guy is going to be a real prince. Yes, people have been buying guns. Yes, a large percentage of those sales have been first time buyers. However, they have also been doing the right thing and getting training in how to use and maintain their new guns in a safe manner. Of course, this Gestapo wannabe can’t be bothered with actual facts. They get in the way of his lies and conspiracy theories.

Chipman’s work as a senior policy adviser for Giffords and support for new gun bans coupled with his controversial comments could complicate Biden’s effort to make him the first confirmed ATF director since 2015. His support for new gun bans already put him at odds with all Senate Republicans and a handful of moderate Democrats, including Sens. Joe Manchin (W. Va.), Jon Tester (Mont.), and Kyrsten Sinema (D., Ariz.).

Controversial comments is one way to refer to what he has said. Flat out lies is another. For instance, he claims that the Davidians shot down 2 helicopters during the initial raid on the compound.

“At Waco, cult members used 2 .50 caliber Barretts to shoot down two Texas Air National Guard helicopters,” Chipman said in one of the posts. “Point, it is true we are fortunate they are not used in crime more often. The victims of drug lords in Mexico are not so lucky. America plays a role in fueling the violence south of the border.”

No helicopters were shot down during the shootout between the cult members and federal agents. Helicopters deployed to the scene by the Texas National Guard during the 1993 incident have been at the center of multiple conspiracy theories over the years. The Dallas Morning News debunked myths about their involvement as recently as 2018.

I can’t be certain, but I think that there was a Barrett used in defense by the Davidians. As I recall, there is footage of several agents climbing through a window, and then shots blowing right through the side of the building, and one agent still outside ducking. I have heard that was a .50 Barrett. Considering the length of that rifle, not to mention the weight, I doubt it was ever used if the Davidians had one. Of course, the BATFE has been lying since day one on what happened that day.

Chipman has backed policies, such as a ban on all ammunition magazines holding more than 10 rounds, that have been struck down by some federal courts. While speaking to NPR as a Giffords representative in 2019, he said the proposal to ban those types of magazines, which come standard in nearly all modern firearms sold in America, is “very reasonable.” He admitted that the proposal will not actually stop shootings. But he argued that limiting magazine capacity could stop “a killer from transforming into a killing machine” because of the need to more frequently reload ammunition. He admitted the limit he wants to impose is arbitrary.

“I think let’s say 10 and below are OK or reasonable. Above would be regulated,” he told NPR. “And I think this comes basically based on a guess.”

Switching out an empty magazine for a loaded one, regardless of the amount of ammunition it holds takes no time at all. Also, in case this walking turd has forgotten, certain very popular pistols use a large caliber bullet that makes it difficult to design a magazine that hold more then 10 rounds. I’m talking about the American .45 ACP cartridge.

The original pistol that the cartridge was made for, the M1911, or “Colt .45 Auto), generally has a magazine that 7 or 8 rounds. However, the projectile is a big, heavy, slow moving round that was designed to knock a hopped up Moro insurrectionist with one shot. Although there are other pistols that use that cartridge, they generally don’t hold more then 10 rounds. Any more and you need a hand like a shovel to actually hold the gun.

Chipman’s comments have also garnered strong backlash from Second Amendment groups and gun industry representatives. Second Amendment Foundation executive Alan Gottlieb said Chipman is “a tool of the gun prohibition lobby he’s worked for” and that his nomination is an attempt to politicize the ATF.

“The bottom line is we will have the ATF working against gun owners rather than being a neutral government agency to enforce laws,” Gottlieb said. “We’re probably going to have what I would consider to be a very rogue ATF. … Everybody in the whole firearms community and Second Amendment community is going to pull out all the stops to fight the confirmation.”

If this POS is confirmed, and there is a slight chance he won’t be, I won’t be surprised to see another Ruby Ridge or Waco Texas incident occur. What I don’t think Chiphead has considered is that we’ve already seen what happens when a federal agency decides that the Constitution is a dead letter.

I would suggest he review what happened at the Bundy Ranch and why 300 federal agents suddenly bolted from the scene. I seem to recall those agents were observed conducting an activity in violation of the law and the 1000+ militia members encamped there decided it was time to put a stop to it. If this dirt bag is confirmed and pulls, or tries to pull another Waco or Ruby Ridge, he’s going to find his agents are surrounded, cut off and being massacred. Yes, it could and will happen if he tries to repeat what happened in the 90’s. This lying murder needs to be rejected. If the Senate approves him, they own what happens next.
