Good day all. I don’t know why this should surprise me. It seems the Taliban is looking to hire a lobbyist to seem like a legitimate government, and get all the spare parts they might need for the equipment President Dementia handed to them.
Sadly, we have a long history in this country of groups, organizations and foreign governments hiring lobbyists to “plead their case” to congress. (Usually over drinks and discussions of campaign contributions) Now the Taliban is looking to get in on the action. Here are the details from Breitbart:
The Taliban on Monday was reportedly looking for a Washington, D.C., lobbyist to gain legitimacy from President Joe Biden.
“Sign of the times: hearing the Taliban is in the market for a lobbyist in DC, offering a lucrative contract. The narrative around their financial situation, is that they’re broke,” a BBC reporter based in Washington, D.C., tweeted:
Secretary of State Antony Blinken has acknowledged the Taliban’s hopes of becoming fully legitimate after the U.S. evacuated the country, leaving billions of dollars worth of gear and hundreds of Americans behind. On Monday, Blinken even acknowledged the Taliban to be “the de facto government of Afghanistan.”
“The Taliban says it seeks international legitimacy and international support. And that will depend entirely on what it does, not just on what it says,” Blinken told TOLO News when asked if Biden will recognize the Taliban as a legitimate government. “And the trajectory of its relationship with us and with the rest of the world will depend on its actions.”
If it hadn’t been for you and that Senile idiot, the Taliban would still be nothing more than a nuisance the actual government of Afghanistan. Instead, the entire maladministration, including those useless worthies on the JCS decided that the best way to withdraw was to do it in the absolute wrong way possible.
While the Taliban have promised to be “inclusive” and tolerant of women’s rights as long as they submit to sharia law, they also appointed an FBI wanted terrorist with a $10 million bounty to be in charge of passport control for Americans and green card holders who remain hostage in the country.
First, women have basically no rights under Sharia law, period, stop. Second, appointing that terrorist in charge of passport control for any Americans and Green card holders trying to leave is both a slap in face of the United States and a direct threat to those same Americans and Green card holders.
The best way to deal with that piece of trash is simple. Change the reward from “Information leading to his arrest” to a simple “Dead or alive” and deceived to any American consulate in the world. We don’t even need the whole man. Just his head in a bucket of ice as proof of death.
Yet the Taliban have been calling “on other countries to recognize their right to rule Afghanistan,” Politico reported. When it comes to the Biden in particular, one Taliban terrorist reportedly stated, “The Islamic Emirate is keen to maintain good diplomatic, economic and trade relations with America on the basis of mutual respect and equality.”
We can expect the Muslim countries to acknowledge their claim fairly soon, with the Eurotrash in Brussels giving them everything they could possibly want.
Biden, however, already may be legitimizing the Taliban by allowing the United Nations to give aid to the Afghan people, which is facilitated by the Taliban terrorists in a type of partnership, similar to the one in which the Taliban secured the outer perimeter of the Kabul airport where 13 U.S. troops were killed.
And that is another reason that Dementia Joe needs to be removed from office. He has all but surrendered to the Taliban and Al Qaeda.
But despite the loss of American life, the Taliban plan to protect the life and property of humanitarian workers and safeguard their compounds while aid is disseminated to the starving Afghan people.
“The Taliban also promised to protect the life and property of humanitarian workers and safeguard their compounds. On Sunday, Taliban authorities sent assurances that they would facilitate humanitarian aid deliveries by road,” U.N.’s Director of Humanitarian and Emergency Relief Operations Martin Griffiths said.
Promises from the terrorist organization come as the “World Bank has halted all funding for new projects,” the “International Monetary Fund has blocked funds designated for Afghanistan,” and Biden has “frozen the assets of Afghanistan’s central bank that are held in the United States.”
I have little doubt that the Taliban is already looking to sell that gold mine of military hardware that Dementia Joe and Milksop Milley abandoned in working condition. The helicopters alone should get them $20-30 million apiece.
It should be noted nearly “100 Americans in Afghanistan” remain hostage to the Taliban since Biden’s deadly evacuation on August 31, Blinken confirmed Monday. Media reports suggest between 100 to 5,000 Americans could still be trapped in the country.
Yep, and the maladministration is working hard at making sure that nothing is done about them. Now as for hiring a lobbyist, I have no doubt they could find some scumbag to do their dirty work on Capitol Hill. I’m sure there are plenty of art lovers who are salivating at buying some of Hunter Biden’s paint by numbers pieces for upwards of a million dollars each. What I’m really curious about is how many lobbying firms tell the Taliban to go take a hike. Anyone who takes their money is probably going to be blacklisted. No one wants to be associated with a terrorist group.
