Good day all. Now that the Islamic Terrorist, allowed into the United States by the Bumbles Dementia Maladministration, has been successfully concluded, with the terrorist in question now shagging his 72 virgin goats, there are a few interesting details coming out.
It was announced that the FBI had stormed the synagogue, rescued the hostages and blown away the terrorist. That statement appears to be no longer operative. The reality is that the hostages “Self Rescued” themselves with no help from the FBI. Here are some of the details from Legal Insurrection:
New details are emerging about the hostage situation at the synagogue in Colleyville, TX, over the weekend. It turns out that the FBI did not rescue the hostages. They saved themselves.

Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker spoke with CBS News on Monday.
Switching over to the Communist Broadcasting Service, here is what the good Rabbi Cytron-Walker had to say:
A rabbi who was among the four hostages held during a nearly 11-hour standoff at a Texas synagogue managed to escape after throwing a chair at the gunman, he told “CBS Mornings” on Monday.
Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker said he and the two other remaining hostages were “terrified,” especially during the last hour of the standoff Saturday night because the suspect “wasn’t getting what he wanted.” It was at that point that Cytron-Walker saw an opportunity to act.
The rabbi said he first made sure the other hostages were ready to run and that the group wasn’t too far from the exit.
“I told them to go, I threw a chair at the gunman and I headed for the door,” he said. “And all three of us were able to get out without even a shot being fired.”
Law enforcement officials have praised Cytron-Walker for remaining calm and collected during the ordeal.
Without question, Rabbi Cytron-Walker performed admirably. It did help that there were so few people in this fine place of worship at the time, especially children. (Please note that I don’t know anything about how things work in a synagogue) He and the others watched for their opportunity and then took it when presented.
Cytron-Walker said his response was informed by different courses he has attended over the years with the FBI, the Colleyville Police Department, the Anti-Defamation League and Secure Communities Network.
“They really teach you in those moments that when your life is threatened, you need to do whatever you can to get to safety. You need to do whatever you can to get out,” he said.
I’m sorry that you have to take these courses. The only thing you really should be dealing with is your membership, (for lack of a better term), and their spiritual needs. However, it is nice to see that you were able to step up and handle their security needs when required. Flipping back to the Legal Insurrection story:

As for the FBI? Once again, they lived down to their current reputation as a “Fu**ing Bunch of Incompetents. At first they refused to call it what this was, Islamic terrorism. They also didn’t do anything to actually rescue the hostages. They saw an opening and took it. From what I’ve seen, they were happy to take credit for that.

Now people are looking into how this goat molester was allowed into the country. It looks like he was on the British MI6’s radar, although low level, and they never bothered to let us know about it. His own family wants to know how he got here. Then there is the question of how he got the gun. I really doubt he walked into a gun store. If he was here on a tourist visa and no green card, I don’t think the dealer would even bother with a NICS check. They would just say no. Of course, all that matters is that the correct individual is now pushing up the daisies. Good work Texas, nicely done Rabbi and good riddance to bad trash.

Might want to hold off a moment on praise of the Rabbi’s actions.
As I understand it from reading elsewhere (forget where, sorry), the reason the congregants (or whatever the term used by Judaism) were able to be easily taken hostage in the first place was because he explicitly prohibited carrying firearms inside.
While not banning firearms doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone (or anyone, at that) in the building is armed, prohibitions against rule-abiding members made sure there wasn’t even the option.

That said, I’m wondering if it was Texas LEOs that actually made the a-hole a Good Terrorist, and the FBI is being implicitly credited with it by the handful of articles I’ve read on the event (primarily by not mentioning TX cop involvement beyond a vague “they were there”).
Regarding the Rabbi and any prohibition on firearms, that is a bit of a grey area and is within the rights of the synagogue to do. That isn’t to say it’s a smart idea of course. It’s when “The State” tells you that you can’t defend yourselves. Doubtless, there will be some discussions regarding this prohibition if it’s true.
Regarding the FBI, It’s possible that they’re the ones who went in and not the Texans. From what I have been reading, it’s going to be easier to figure out who didn’t shoot that piece of trash then who did. The FBI raid team all doing a mag dump is about their speed.
