Good day all. This story has just broken. It looks like the man who made CNN what it is today, a steaming pile of crap pretending to be a news network, Jeff Zucker, has been forced to resign from CNN.

When the Greatest President of the 21^st Century, Donald Trump started moving up in the polls in 2016, Zucker decided to turn CNN into the “All Trump, All the Time, All Fake News” network. Because of this, CNN’s reputation is now pretty much trashed. It’s been apparent that the upper management at CNN’s parent company has been looking to ease him out the door. Now it seems that investigation into Fredo Cuomo that led to his firing has also turned up some dirt on Zucker. Here are the details from Fox News:

Embattled CNN boss Jeff Zucker walked away from the liberal network on Wednesday after failing to disclose a “consensual relationship” with a CNN staffer.

“As part of the investigation into Chris Cuomo’s tenure at CNN, I was asked about a consensual relationship with my closest colleague, someone I have worked with for more than 20 years. I acknowledged the relationship evolved in recent years. I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn’t. I was wrong. As a result, I am resigning today,” Zucker wrote in a memo to staffers shared by CNN’s Brian Stelter.

Walked away? That’s a nice way of saying “You’re fired! Don’t let the door hit you on the ass on the way put!”

“I came to CNN on January 28, 2013. Together, we had nine great years. I certainly wish my tenure here had ended differently. But it was an amazing run. And I loved every minute,” Zucker continued. “I am grateful to the thousands of incredibly talented CNN and Turner Sports employees who helped make this such a joy for me, and such a success for all of us. I wish each of you nothing but the best in the years ahead.”

Nine great years? Oh I don’t think so. It was under Zucker’s tenure that CNN became known as one of the biggest purveyors of Fake News out there, along with the New York Slimes and the Washington Compost. Granted, CNN has had issues going back a while, but under Zucker, things went from worse to gawd awful.

Under Zucker, CNN has recently been plagued by scandals, embarrassing headlines and struggles to attract an audience, leading critics to wonder if he would be shown the door once a planned merger between WarnerMedia and Discovery is finalized later this year. However, the sudden resignation before the potential deal was finalized sent shock waves across the media industry.

I don’t know why people are so shocked. Never mind his boinking someone there. Frankly, as long as both parties were consenting, I don’t care. Zucker’s tenure at CNN has been on life support ever since AT&T decided to unload the network.

In February 2021, Zucker reportedly told CNN staffers he would continue to oversee the liberal network for the remainder of the year but expected to “move on” when his contract expires at the end of 2021.

Many insiders quickly dismissed the news that Zucker would actually walk away from CNN, where he is known to be hands-on and personally allowed it to drift from a just-the-facts news operation to a hyperpartisan opinion platform. “He ain’t leaving,” a CNN employee casually told Fox News Digital at the time.

Once again, the ever so balanced and honest journalists at CNN got it wrong. Still, it would normally have been a good bet that Zucker would have been kept on, since his nemesis WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar was leaving the holding company, and that Zucker’s “Bestest Buddy,” Discovery CEO David Zaslav, was going to run the new company. Perhaps Zaslav is more interested in trying to restore CNN’s credibility as a source of real news and information instead of being nothing more than a part of the Progressive Liberal Democratic Communazi Propaganda Corps. We’ll find out what happens on that front down the road.
