Good day all. There is a company called Penzeys Spices that sells high end, (meaning over priced), spices. Recently, the Progressive CEO decided to demonstrate just how progressive he is by calling all Republicans racist. Since a lot his customers are Republicans or like minded independents, they took exception to being defamed this way.
They also took something else, their business. It seems that Penzeys Spices has lost a lot of their customers. Now the CEO is begging them to come back. Here are the details from Fox Business:
A Wisconsin-based spice company that made headlines earlier this month when its CEO sent an email to customers accusing Republicans of racism is now asking people to buy gift cards after hemorrhaging tens of thousands of customers.

Earlier this month, Penzeys Spices CEO Bill Penzey renamed the extended Martin Luther King, Jr. Day weekend to be “Republicans are racist weekend” in a newsletter to customers. In the letter, he said his aim was to anger Republicans in honor of the late civil rights icon.
“Remember how Republicans, going against a mountain of evidence to the contrary, once again lied and said BLM wasn’t a peaceful movement but instead terrorists inciting violence throughout the country and then raced out to buy a crapload of guns because maybe they were finally going to get their chance to shoot a Black person? What a bunch of racists,” the email said.
Well, the moron certainly achieved the goal of angering Republicans. However, like all “good” progressives, I don’t think he thought to far ahead and considered how the people he had insulted would react. They didn’t react well.
Since sending his controversial email, Penzey sent out another missive Friday asking for gift card purchases and admitting that his company had since lost 40,005 subscribers, which is approximately 3% of their base, according to 1130 WISN.
That is not a small hit to the bottom line. I also suspect it’s probably a lot worse than that. If it wasn’t that bad, this moron wouldn’t be out begging people to buy his crap.
“After starting the year with All Republicans are Republicans and following up with Republicans are Racists we’ve set a nice little Boycott Penzeys! surge in motion,” Penzey wrote. “It certainly wasn’t unexpected, but if it’s within your means, you picking up a small stack of Gift Cards would help.”
Despite the fact that his politically-charged email reportedly brought in 30,000 new subscribers, Penzey conceded that “we are still down about 10,000. Please help.”
Ahh, I see. He wants to cater only to the bigoted Moonbat class of snobs. He then continues with his ranting and ravings and, well I would say lies, but that would assume that this bozo isn’t a complete nutjob.
“If you can’t even begin to fathom how to ‘compromise’ with January 6th, or the Republican vaccine lies needlessly killing 10,000 Americans every week, if you have no desire to become half-way racist, and if their intent to destroy our climate for one thousand years to come doesn’t have you asking: ‘What if we just destroyed it for five-hundred years instead?’ we would be better off with you on this Voice Of Cooking email list,” he wrote.
This guy is flat out delusional. From what I’ve seen, the company is not publicly traded, which is why this lunatic can get away with slandering half the American population. If this company were publicly traded, the Board of Directors would have no choice but to remove him as CEO.
His statement that the BCLOM movement was “peaceful” movement can be shown to be incorrect. All you need to do is look at all the burnt out sections in cities where the peaceful rioters peacefully sacked, looted and burned businesses. Somehow, I suspect none of his stores are actually in areas that were peacefully destroyed. Pity.
I haven’t bought any of his “Spices” and doubt I ever will. I’m sure they’re way over priced, and sales are probably aimed at people like this guy Penzy. Rich, guilty white progressives who think they’re smarter than everyone else. Well, I’m sure he will insult the wrong person at some point and find himself in court facing a slander/libel charge.

I was reading a column by in the Washington Times regarding this moonbat, She made reference to another story about this bozo. It seems that the family spice business isn’t Penzys spices. Here is what Ms. Bruce wrote:
In 2016 Rod Dreher at The American Conservative was reporting on another screed of Penzeys and discovered Mr. Penzey’s parents had left the original family spice business to his sister Pam and her husband, apparently leaving Bill Jr. out in the cold. “The Spice House” company is Penzys primary competition. It manages its successful business with great products, actual kindness and genuine appreciation.
Hmm, makes one wonder doesn’t it? Even his own parents couldn’t stand him.
