Good day all. Recently, the Greatest President of the 21st Century said that, if he should run again, and if he should win, he would pardon most of the January 6th political prisoners now being held without trial. This set off the generally useless TransRepublican squish, Lindsey Graham.
Lindsey Graham is notable for many things, such as being able to stand upright without a spine. It is also known, although not widely reported, that Graham demanded that the Capitol Police open fire on the unarmed protesters walking around the capitol building. When he heard that President Trump would pardon most of them if he returned to office, Graham objected. Not one to take anything lying down, President Trump announced that Graham was just another RINO. Here are the details from the Washington Examiner:
Former President Donald Trump called Sen. Lindsey Graham a “RINO” in a show of umbrage taken with the South Carolina Republican criticizing his floating of pardons for people charged in connection to the Capitol riot.
He made the comment during a Newsmax interview that aired Tuesday night when host Robb Schmitt reacted to Graham saying over the weekend on CBS News that Trump’s pardon suggestion was “inappropriate.” It shows that although Trump and Graham have developed a friendship since being bitter rivals during the 2016 election primaries, the former president is still willing to grouse about his ally when they have a difference of opinion.
“Well, Lindsey Graham is wrong. I mean, Lindsey is a nice guy, but he’s a RINO,” Trump said, employing the acronym for “Republican in Name Only” often used by members of the GOP to criticize each other.
President Trump continued and referred to the actions by the terrorist groups ANTIFA and BCLOM.
“Lindsey’s wrong. Look, they tried to burn down Washington — we’re talking federal buildings. They were terrible. Every Democrat city was on fire, and nobody says anything about it. Antifa and BLM were causing so many problems, including death,” Trump continued.
President Trump then referred to the murder of Ashli Babbitt by the trigger happy capitol cop.
Trump argued that unlike the protests during the summer of 2020, only “one young fine woman” died during the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill.
The Washington Examiner decided to correct President Trump by saying 5 people died. This is not accurate. Only one died of violent action and this was Ms. Babbitt. The others died of natural causes or other reasons not involving violent actions.
Trump set his focus on Ashli Babbitt, a supporter of his who he said was killed by a “ruthless man who never should have used his gun to shoot her.”
Since her cold blooded murder, more and more information has come out that does not put that trigger happy thug in a good light. However, sadly, he might just get away with it.
The Justice Department declined to charge Byrd in connection to the shooting, and the Capitol Police separately found that his “actions were consistent with the officer’s training and USCP policies and procedures” and that he “potentially saved Members and staff from serious injury and possible death” at the hands of the rioters.
That was a flat out lie. There were several Washington Metro police within arms reach of Ms. Babbitt, and that moron almost hit them. Well, the good news is that there is no statute of limitations on murder, and I won’t be a bit surprised if President Trump, should he run for office and win, doesn’t have her case re-investigated by an honest set of law enforcement officials. (That would not be the FBI)
During a rally in Texas on Saturday, Trump said that if he were to run and become president in 2024, he would make sure the Capitol rioters were treated fairly, adding, “If it requires pardons, we will give them pardons because they are being treated so unfairly.”
Trump also said he felt many of the rioters had been slapped with punishments that were out of proportion with what they did, describing some of the rioters as “patriots.”
That is what set off that fathead Lindsey Grahamnesty. This is the same flaming coward who was just fine with the Capitol Thugs gunning down the protesters. I know that jerk never considered what would have happened if the police killed dozens of unarmed people. If he thinks that the January 6th protest was an insurrection, what would have come next would have been flat out armed rebellion, and that loser would have ended up on a lamp post.
Unfortunately, Graham isn’t up for reelection until 2026. He managed to scam his way to a second term. However, with a little luck and a lot of hard work, we can make sure he is nothing more than a chair warmer in the Senate, and possibly can force him to resign. If that doesn’t work, there is always digging into his background. There have long been rumors of shady dealings, and considering what a dirt bag he is, where there is smoke, there is probably a little flame.
